  • Its crazy to think someone can drive nearly 70,000 miles in one year and it seems it would be one of the ultimate test of an early production vehicle.

This is probably my second favorite generation of the Accord (my favorite being 2008-2012). The only thing I dislike about this car is the horns, the previous generation had a super loud horn, but this one comes with a meep meep horn. Luckily they have an "Accord Sports Horn" which is an upgrade to a better sounding horn. Great review!

My 2015 Lx had 78k when it was hit off an interstate into trees and totaled. Car was great. No issues other than the left rear power door lock malfunctioning. Other issue was a slow battery drain- I was 2yrs into my 3rd battery at the time of the accident. Everything else was fine. Minimal oil dilution, zero CVT slippage even up steep grades. Great car.

I had a bad lock actuator and battery issues in my Civic as well! Must be Honda things.

@@ThinkOutsideTheCube eh. It might just be car things. Honda doesn't manufacture the actuator. The battery thing is definitely a real issue, and annoying one. You pretty much have to keep a jumper in your trunk after 2 years with the battery just to be safe.

Well if you're familiar with the ^drive to five^ blog, the guy has nearly 97,000 miles on a 2013 Acura ILX.
Oh, and that speaker in the rear is for the Active Noise Cancellation feature, if I'm not mistaken.

Buy it, Don't think about it just buy it. In all honesty that car looks spectacular, since I am in Canada that would be around 110,000 Kilometers on the car. My 2006 Toyota has around 160000 Kilometers.

I was looking at this 2012 Ford Focus and it had 245,300 miles!! I was like OMG!! Our 2013 Flex had 63,000 on it when we traded it.. If we kept it, it would have around 84,000 miles..

70,000 in one dear has got to be the EASIEST a car can go through.... They are obviously all highway miles which is the easiest on cars especially with CVTs
