I would say that each promise to the church was in response to the seal being opened also, ie horseman takes peace so that men kill one another, the overcomer shall not be harmed by the second death; horseman given authority, the overcomer will rule and reign with Christ; the horseman brings famine, the overcomer will be given the hidden manna; White robes are given to the slain, the overcomer will be clothed in white. We will see the horrible things going on around us but have the promise of the Messiah that this is temporary and that we who overcome will inherit eternal promises.
