Not to say I don't wish him success, but I was so worried when I heard he's getting famous that he wouldn't be able to find the time to voice G'raha or that he'd start thinking it was "beneath him". That he loves voicing the character himself and knows how important he is to us and has PUSHED to make it happen just warms my heart. :)
He said it was when he was in “Company” which looks like a theater play in 2018 according to google. So that must have been during shadowbringers since that came out in 2019
@@AlpacalipsThat's wild because the line he recites for demonstration is from, like, the very end of Endwalker 😂 Love that he is so attached to the character
I love that the VA's really love what they do, so many interviews I've seen where they just go on about how great the community and the story is. I also love that they acknowledge how much their character means to a lot of people, I love that they understand that and don't think it strange or weird ❤. I hope we see Bailey in an official SE video one day (like the Culinary Chaos video), but I know he's a busy man. Still, it'd be nice, and I'd love to see how he'd interact with some of the other VA's oneday.
The best thing I saw recently was Colin Ryan's stream while he's playing FFXIV. I saw how he was in awe and excited when The Scions of the Seventh Dawn got first mentioned, the first time he set foot on the Waking Sands and finally met the Scions and how he got emotional and giddy the first time Alphinaud and Alisaie appeared on screen. He genuinely had tears forming in his eyes that you can clearly feel his attachment to the characters. It was a joy to watch his streams because little by little, he is having a full understanding of the game itself and is filling all those gaps context-wise that he had when he was just voicing Alphinaud.
He was actually in a BBC show in like 2011 I think with Colin Ryan 🥰🥰 It's really good it's called Leonardo He's playing a young Leonardo da Vinci! And Colin Ryan is playing Lorenzo de Medici.
This makes me so very happy to see. ❤ I and my character both fell in love with our Raha, and to know Mr. Bailey enjoys the work so much brings a smile to my face!
While saying he’s the exarch is a spoiler, since he’s in disguise and using that name for plot reasons, it’s now a six year old spoiler. And what endeared the character that was seemingly left behind in A Realm Reborn to the Shadowbringers players. When a character, regardless of their moral alignment, has that much faith in the WoL? Hard not to like them.
His Company revival was 2018, it was cute, they swapped a couple roles and he is the role that is Amy name changed to Jamie and does one of Sondheim's most difficult patter songs -- Not Getting Married Today.
Mr. Bailey, we love you as G’raha (I may be in love with G’raha… may… be… 🥰🥹😍☠️) and I - I’m sure most of us - pray you and the BEST companion to our WoL remain with us forever. You breathe SUCH life and love into our favorite good boi, and I’ll speak only for myself, though I’m sure I’d find my own band of Scions ready to join me, when I say I’ll literally fight anyone I must to keep him (channeled through you) by the WoL’s side until humanity falls and it’s left to the aliens discovering the ruins of our civilization to uncover copies of this game and continue enjoying your work as G’raha in some unknown future. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the gift you share with us. ❤

I love how he was hesitant saying "He is very ador....ing" which is a nice and fun way to say "a total WoL Simp" xDDDD
We love our baby catboi!
I think he was about to say "adorable"; which is also true.
We love you Mr. Bailey! I'm so happy to see you gain more fame. You give G'raha such personality and are amazing.
That's adorable. I want to find the lispy moments now.

The fact that THE JONATHAN BAILEY is G’raha Tia’s voice makes it all the better. This man has my full respect🫶🏻

The Best Cat Boy, mate
Was it right around the time Y'shtola sounded sick?

Isn’t it “and it will be glorious“ and not magnificent? Pretty sure I remember it as glorious. 🤔
Just checked the scene, it’s “and it will be marvelous”
