I took my shahadda in prison. I was sent away in 2007 for a crime I didn't even commit. I was angry and bitter for this until 2017 I became a Muslim. I even became the Imam of the community. All that anger and bitterness I had went away when I took my shahadda.

Prison was not nice. You’re stuck with very bad people. To see the Muslims practice their faith and be so respectable towards each other draws you in. You start asking questions. And once you understand it it’s like you finally understand why you’re here on this earth. I’m not proud of my mistakes but I’m proud that I found Islam in there. Alahamdulilah.

My Cousin who was born as a Muslim in USA and was not a practicing Muslim at all Served 10 years in prison in USA came out of prison as an extremely Practicing Muslim, he now teaches people how to read the Quran and Gives Sermon on Friday prayers.

I was born and very much practicing Muslim when i was detained/locked up with homeland security for 11 months because of a false report by my ex's mom. I witnessed 4 Shahadas i gave to people in there. Since I and all the Muslims in such facilities are under administrative detention, we were gathered together in the same dorm. All none-Muslims that were with us used refused and often cried whenever they were sent to other doems to make room for a new Muslim detainee. I spent 8 months in one facility, and our dorm was the only dorm that didn't have a single fight or argument, while the other dorms had fights on a daily basis, including the 2 female dorms. In fact, all dorms had officer's supervision except our dorm. We were running the dorm with understanding and harmony. The dorm capacity was 60 inmates, while the Muslims didn't exceed 43 inmates at all times. The rest were Chinese, Cubans, and Haitians, but they were always worried a new Muslim would come because one of them was going to be swnt to the other dorms. When it was time for prayer, anyone of the none-Muslims was watching TV would mute the volume. While our dorm was for administrative detainess, the rest of the dorms were for inmates who were doing time for crimes that they committed. May Allah guide and protect his slaves to be upright and on the straight path.

We do not judge or second-guess what happens, but we say “La hualawala quwwatailla billah,” meaning “we do not have the strength or ability except what Allah has given to us.” We know that there are many people who have wronged other people in life, but died peacefully with a lot of wealth, and we also know that there are many people who are poor but kind, but in the end, they were killed or murdered. So “karma” does not always work.
@@rajarsi6438 We believe that even good people can be affected by illness, loss of a child etc etc. This is not a punishment but a test. As a matter of fact the prophets have been affected the most with bad things and they succeeded the tests.

That is not true. It is only the perfect love of Jesus Christ that casts out ALL fear according to the true word of God - the Bible so fear Jehovah - Yahweh. He is the most high God. I have never heard of a demon running out in fear of the name Allah but they all fear the name of Jesus proving the word of God to be true. I see this first hand in church and even when demons attacked me through sleep paralysis as a child. As soon as I said the name of Jesus I would be free and able to move. I took my shahadda in prison. I was sent away in 2007 for a crime I didn't even commit. I was angry and bitter for this until 2017 I became a Muslim. I even became the Imam of the community. All that anger and bitterness I had went away when I took my shahadda.

I worked as a paramedic in the USA. Prison guards preferred their moslem inmates- they were considered less troublesome, and more respectful.

I was born and very much practicing Muslim when i was detained/locked up with homeland security for 11 months because of a false report by my ex's mom.
I witnessed 4 Shahadas i gave to people in there. Since I and all the Muslims in such facilities are under administrative detention, we were gathered together in the same dorm. All none-Muslims that were with us used refused and often cried whenever they were sent to other doems to make room for a new Muslim detainee.
I spent 8 months in one facility, and our dorm was the only dorm that didn't have a single fight or argument, while the other dorms had fights on a daily basis, including the 2 female dorms.
In fact, all dorms had officer's supervision except our dorm. We were running the dorm with understanding and harmony.
The dorm capacity was 60 inmates, while the Muslims didn't exceed 43 inmates at all times. The rest were Chinese, Cubans, and Haitians, but they were always worried a new Muslim would come because one of them was going to be swnt to the other dorms.
When it was time for prayer, anyone of the none-Muslims was watching TV would mute the volume.
While our dorm was for administrative detainess, the rest of the dorms were for inmates who were doing time for crimes that they committed.
May Allah guide and protect his slaves to be upright and on the straight path.

Maybe karma is your Hindu god’s law, but not Allah. You know how Christians always say “The Lord works in a mysterious way”? That is also a Muslim’s belief. We do not judge or second-guess what happens, but we say “La hualawala quwwatailla billah,” meaning “we do not have the strength or ability except what Allah has given to us.”
We know that there are many people who have wronged other people in life, but died peacefully with a lot of wealth, and we also know that there are many people who are poor but kind, but in the end, they were killed or murdered. So “karma” does not always work.

Leaders and scholars are a reflection of the larger body of Muslims. We can blame the scholars and leaders but the reality is that if we were somewhat decent people, it wouldn't matter what the leaders are doing. This "leaders" excuse is lame. The "leader" was raised by the people.
We muslim didn’t want to bother ourselves whether the revert is sincere or not, that is between him and God. It could be a steppingstone for him to know his Creator and gradually his intention and sincerity become pure.

Love for Enemies

I see this first hand in church and even when demons attacked me through sleep paralysis as a child. As soon as I said the name of Jesus I would be free and able to move.
