Great tutorial. This song has a bunch of unusual chords and you just saved me a lot of headache. Thank you for this. Mr. Bungle deserve far more attention than they get, but I don't think most people are ready for interesting music. They just want music that sounds like other stuff they like and Mr. Bungle don't sound like anyone but Mr. Bungle.
Yeah they're a very singular band. They have a really high level of musicianship mixed with humour, great melodies, interesting chord progressions and multiple stylistic changes within and between songs. Not everyone's cup of tea but if you like it then you love it. California is one of my top 5 favourite albums.
