they're from relatively small company. compared to other groups which is either from big 3 or a sublabel of big 3 + they haven't participated in any survival shows predebut period. They also have unconventional genre on the kpop scene.
they are doing rock genre which isnt every person's taste .

Odd Eye has been the top Dreamcatcher song for me. Love all their songs, but some of them take several listens before getting to love them. ... but Vision was love at first listen. I love this type of sound, so this song has moved to the top of my list.
Odd eye is also my all time favorite title track of Dreamcatcher, I like vision but it took me several listens to actually enjoy the entire song without feeling that smtg is off (not saying its bad though! I rly like the pre chorus and Siyeon's highnote in the last chorus) Odd Eye still remain as my no. 1 favorite:D but srsly tho DC always rocks haha
Yeah i love at first listen, chorus super catchy and heavy, maybe give you some energy
They let other members shine with their vocals even though their lead vocalist or their rappers got part of the chorus but still their main vocalist still not overwhelming because they still got the perfect part to show her strong vocals.

YES! I really appreciate deukae and the team for making each member shines, no favoritism. Handong got less line on the earlier releases, but I must say that her part is almost always the catchiest ones. I'm glad that she came back stronger after the china show tho. My bias used to be Siyeon and Dami but ever since Odd Eye, Handong is definitely the number one for me now.
@@nad.890 right, they always find a way to treat the member equally. I'm so glad that she is coming back with her new energy that we never saw before. handong keeps wrecking somnias so hard lately and I never complain about that.
@@nad.890 I have theory for that. During nightmare series, handong was still new to korean language, so she still couldn't handle too much lines. But now, handong's korean have improves by leaps and bounds. So they give her more lines she long deserve.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves
Dami, Gahyeon and Handong always get tiny lines, they're balancing those more, and that is to be admired, but they haven't always been "equal" when it comes to lines or "catchy" parts.
And it's mostly about their Company choosing who will sing what or so, I bet the girls do get a say (sometimes)
Dami has shared before how she rarely got more than a little amount of lines in title tracks (which happens to a lot of female rappers in kpop, they usually just get their rap part and that's it) Besides, Dami is also a vocalist, and they are finally giving her more singing space (when it comes to title tracks).
She talked about it on Studio Moon Night where Mamamoo's Moonbyul shared the same feeling about having littlle to no lines in their title tracks and not liking it (they get emotional whenever they are allowed to have more than their usual amount of lines, which I repeat, aren't that many).
@@aulila7572 i read before, someone said its because handong asked to get fewer lines in the beginning because yes, her korean is still improving and because she is worried she would forget the lyrics. Tho now that her korean is getting better and better, she is alright with more lines now

You're actually the first reactor I watched who noticed the change of guitar riff in the last chorus. Being aware of the change really does make the listening experience much better, because other people who might've not noticed it could just think it's just the same chorus with the same instrumental, only with ad-libs. Amazing observation. And great reaction as usual.
If I'm not mistaken the song is in E minor, which makes sense since that scale contains an F sharp, which Siyeon often reaches for when belting high notes. As she does in this one. The chorus hammers on that F sharp, which gives it a Phrygian vibe.
I interpreted the "v" at the end for vision and peace. There was a sign that said "peace" earlier in the MV, too. I believe that peace is their vision... SUCH a good and cool concept!!!

I love that they mix dark-syth with psy-trance and their signature rock sound to create this new style of industrial rock which is such a Dreamcathcher thing to do.This comeback is filled with flavour, power and personality
it is dark techno and i believe that's not psy trance because psy trance will have more quick beat like silent night type

Hi. Dreamcatcher is scheduled to tour concerts in Germany (Berlin), the Netherlands (Tiburg), Poland (Warsaw), U.K (London) and France (Paris) from mid-November to late November this year. As far as I know, ticket reservations are in progress. I went to the New York concert, one of Dreamcatcher's concerts in the United States, in July this year. It was such an amazing and great concert. Even now, when I think about the concert, I get so excited that my heart trembles and I get goosebumps all over my body. It was just the best concert without words. 👍
I wosh they'll come to indonesia, but my country's geography is so complicated. It would be hard to gather all insomnias from lots of islands to jakarta. The last time they're scheduled to concert to indonesia it was canceled bcs the ticket sold wasn't enough. It's not that there is no insomnia in indonesia, we are just too scattered.

What I like about Aaron's reactions are, that unlike most YTers' he's not over the top crazy and putting on a show just for content. And also, this trilogy so far is amazing.
Vision is like Odd Eye's Older Rebellious Brother who's just here to wreck us
This song surely hits different. No one does it like Dreamcatcher. It's about time Korea stopped sleeping on the girls
I love the gritty Vision song is compared to Maison. Definitely my favorite title track since Deja Vu. And to top it off with Fairy Tale its just an icing on the cake.
I believe they are showing us the perspective from the future in this series, showing us how the earth looks like when we keep acting like we do. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they seem to be talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks sort of like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or I'm seeing things).
It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. The song is also a call for action, to stand together against aggressors and those who are destroying the planet out of greed. There is not much difference between someone leading an army or a corporation, if the result is destruction. Still, Dami said the intention is to resolve the problems in a peaceful way.
So, what do we do? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is simply badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace.
By the way, my interpretation could be completely wrong, any other theory is perfectly valid as well.
Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release!
This is definitely in my top 5 title tracks of theirs. The chorus is so powerful and the instrumental is amazing. Not to mention, we got rapper Sua back. I love that it has the same vibes as Break The Wall. The MV is super cool. The vocals are so good, I just love it.

I actually had high expectations for this comeback upon hearing all the teasers and highlights even if they only revealed very little parts of the song itself (they got better teasing us 😆)... And I actually love it! For some reason, this comeback gave me the same hype I felt during BOCA era.

One question Aaron... I hope you answer honestly. is Odd Eye still your favorite song until now? or has there been another song that removed it from the throne.. I like all Dreamcatcher songs and I keep hearing it from my playlist, but until now there is no song that can replace Odd Eye's number 1 position.. a song that made me know them and ended up becoming insomnia .

You're right about the chorus being weird. Maison's chorus was weird too because its the same energy with the verse making it somewhat indistinct to the other parts of the song. For Vision the chorus was weird because its in minor unlike most of their title tracks. But the instrumental in the chorus was amazing like how could they not include instrumental in the album. Anyway great video and continue loving Dreamcatcher ❤️

To be honest: I also like this comeback way more than the last one. Im not saying the last one was bad, but for me personaly things like the not-so-impactfull-as-usuall-chorus etc. kind of downgraded the experience for me.
This one on the other side fixed (at least for me) a lot of those things- absolutely love the chorus, how different parts translate to other and stuff like that.
Also: the CGI looks more natural as well, probably their artists upgraded their skills or something since we all learn from our works xD

I must say that I understand you. Maison was my least favorite DC comeback, and that's saying a lot, since I love all of their previous title tracks.
It's the only title track that I didn't play like crazy, I only listen to it from time to time, and that's ironic considering that it's the song with which they won their first win haha (although we all know it was actually with Deja Vu)
I was worried about Vision, but I have to say that luckily I'm in love.

Another one hell yeah. This song give me the chills its so nasty the deliver, the music, the choreo. Its everything i wanted just like Odd Eye makes me boop my head all the song. This is one of the best specially the MV and outfits /make up this next level.

In my opinion, this song is very much Odd Eye x Maison. The chorus is literally the same structure as Maison. I enjoyed the song though, but I think it's definitely below the other comebacks that they have had. It's still a 10/10 bop though for me lmao
Same. I enjoyed it but not like previous comebacks I couldn't help but rave about. Plus Maison and Odd Eye were really the only two titles I didn't like at first few listens (They did grow on me alot though, especially Odd Eye. This one is doing so too.)
