Walz and Frey need to get the downtown area under control then people to spend more time downtown. People come to downtown for an event but dont spend time downtown like they used to. Crime is still a problem. Also, more people are working from home and companies dont need office space they once needed. In addition, s3veral companies like Target have relocated to cheaper office space in the suburbs.
Search crime trends in Minneapolis and other cities to get your answer. Facts are facts. Crime is a problem, some cities more than others. There are certainly things our DA office and politicians could be doing to address issues.
APPRAISAL VALUES ARE ONLY GOOD FOR 2 YRS ON COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES IN THE UNITED STATES. AND, ... THAT'S IF YOU HAVE A STABLE MARKET. A LEASE TENANT AGREEMENT FOR MULTIPLE YEARS. *APPRAISED FOR $300 MILLION IN 2016 AND THEY'RE GOING TO TAKE THAT BIG OF A HIT.??? BOARD OF REALTORS NEED TO CALL THE POLITICIANS BEFORE MORE INVESTORS PULL OUT OF THIS CITY.!!!
More Minneapolis regulations each year to control on their business.😮 Harder to make a profit when you are dividing one time to meeting the regulations than concentrating on running a profitable business.😢
People who own commercial property tells you that each property has a fixed overhead that needs to be paid including a mortgage payment each month or each quarter. If no tenants are found, the property itself declined from lack of upkeep, maintenance service which has to be pay or the property decays!😂 Best option is to get rid of the property and have the bank or finance company take the loss! Or if the property owner has no mortgage on it, that is a very, very bad situation because you take the entire loss!😂
As a senior on fixed income. Minnesota is a leader of taxing us seniors out of our homes. As seniors my wife who uses a walker we don't go to Minneapolis any more. We are also looking into moving out of state where there is affordable housing.
The Death of Minneapolis
Jana is lost. What would you expect, though, coming from a woman trying to be a teenage boy.

They will never bring back downtown. Walz and the dems welfare-collecting pets just wont allow normalcy and civility in Minnesota
Frey has personal bodyguards accompanying him everywhere he goes in the city!😮 He is well protected as a Mayor!😅
Exactly and us mere mortals don't have the privilege...
They got to get rid of this chick she is so abrasive

@@Agent77X the minimum wage has killed the small businesses….
It would be an absolute shame should this beautiful building be razed. I so hope it doesn't come to that.

Gee Whiz! All the money for stadiums certainly isn't paying off!
Why does the tax payer have to pay for the team owner’s bills? Ridiculous and wrong.
Turn it into illegal immigrant housing
Instead of knocking the building down, making more affordable income base housing for people to live. Minnesota is a leader in affordable housing
