Also man plain daylight my friend got his pitbull and American bully stolen and he spent so much money on it and its so manny scams out here gotta be safe
I got really lucky with my 11 month old bully he is calm and friendly and never had biting problems , he was easy to train too as a first time dog owner and I have no regrets .... great breed ❤❤❤
I also got new pet..which is 2 month old female origanal americal bully breed...and it is my first pet..and she biting..and chew think like cloths some time..my mom was afraid of it..and afraid to commnicate with my pet...so what can i do for my puppies biting habit...plz reply
my puppy, who is now a lady, never had any issues with me. she sleeps by my side every night. she just needs to wear diaper coz she's menstruating now. My baby is really friendly, loving, and good natured. She loves the attention from people. She does not bite and bark strangers. She just whines to attract attention and she always gets it. She never had peeing or pooping issues when in my room. She always does her thing outside. My baby also follows me wherever I go. She does not lick, too, which I hate. Don't get me wrong. I know it is the dog's love language but I just don't like the licking part.
I found a stray classic. He is about a year or so. He think he's a lap dog, so sweet. No breeding. Right now I am putting weight on him. He understands a few things..commands. if I tell him to go to sleep, he lays down and closes his eyes. He is a love.
Watching your vids for over a year now. Ever since I got my first bully last year, who turned out to be a GREAT friend to my senior rottie. Now I have my rot and 3 more bullies! My guy, thank you. 🙏🏽
Thanks Ruben for starting a video series pertaining specifically to the American Bully. This video addresses so many things new owners seriously need to consider, it's without doubt not like purchasing & raising a run of the mill breed. All of your videos are excellent and most can be crossed over between breeds, but addressing the American Bully solely is going to be an excellent addition. Our 5 month Bully was basically raised by you lol, he definitely knows your voice, wherever he is in the house when we cast one of your videos, he runs to the living room, perks up and sits watching intently. As always thanks brother and keep the excellent content coming.
We got ours from a shelter. As a pitbull. She was rescued from a puppy mill where she had multiple liters. She is 5 years old 70 very solid pounds and very happy on our 10 acres in cattle country.
I've had dogs all of my life and after 48 years I've found my breed! We've had our bully for about a year and I can't imagine ever getting a different breed. He is amazing! Thanks for the video. I would love to have the Kill the Bad Stereotypes graphic in a bumper sticker!
My bully has literally never barked(ever) or growled, he's never paused or took a step back when he has seen a stranger. He doesn't even growl playing tug, it is so wild. I can turn his leash loose and he doesn't run off. Thanks for the tips 👍
Bro I thought it was just me. I've only heard mine bark twice once at a another dog that kept barking at him and when I was taking too long getting his food. Mine does growl when playing with the rope some times. He just follows me and a lot of times the leash gets in the way because he is so close to me. He's lazy he won't tell me when he has to use the bathroom I have to carry him outside............. to the grass and when he's done he will follow me back in the house. Mine's the same way with the strangers especially if you got a snack he going. 🤣
I’ve always wanted a big dog! Long ago I got my shih tzu thinking she’d grow big (she barely reaches a yorkie’s size…). 11 years later, I was given a pinscher which is also adorable. Now, finally… I decided to get my american bully, she’s a tiny baby but soon enough will be part of my daily routine exercises / fun activities 💜
Thanks for the info my fiance and I rescued an American Bully who was just a pup off of the streets. When we got him he was in pretty bad shape most likely used as a bait dog since his face was scratched up and the bone of his leg was showing. We nurse him back to full health and managed to save his leg. We didn't know what breed he was until we dna tested him and it turned out he is an American Bully. I took the extra steps to ensure he is healthy by taking him a detailed health test and he is 100% healthy. We have been blessed with such a beautiful dog and I will say he is such a big baby as well. So I appreciate the content so that I am informed on what to do for my dog
This video is so helpful. My house is far too small for a Bully, but I do take an interest in the breed, and can pass on useful to others if needed/wanted. I met a Classic today - nearly 1 year old, a big lad with a massive head and small pale green eyes! His owner warned me "careful, he's a jumper!" meaning he tends to jump up at people, but he was calm, enjoyed a fuss, then just lay down on the pavement! He didn't bark once, and I've noticed the larger the Bully, the quieter they seem to be, and remarkably gentle. 🐕❤️🐕❤️
I got my American Bully ( not sure what type) from animal control, her family moved , she’s now 8 1/2 months old .there were so many there, so sad. She’s a great dog. I am so happy with her. All my neighbors love her , except one who was trying to report me to my building. The best tip was joining the community, people need to know how sweet they are 💕
People need to be more aware of the nature of the Bully. I'm no expert, but every one I've met, all sizes, are sweet natured, friendly, and the larger the Bully, the quieter they seem to be! ❤️🐕
Ive honestly been afraid of dogs due to a childhood trauma, but when my mom brought home a bully puppy 4 months probably, i eventually got attached to him. Now he has a puppy and o forgot how I can properly take care of a puppy so thank you for the tips
I adopted a 14 month old xl bully was cautious with my kids at first due to her size and power but now she is 30 months and my daughters shadow and best friend she is amazing with my parson terrier my daughters and absolutely any animal or creature we come across she is a delight and joy to share my life with a little bit stubborn and a attitude but what a beautiful soul. good advise and another good vid.
Nice tips 👏🏻👏🏻 specially when you say “don’t jump into the breeding business just for the money” is very important to do it with love and respect for them. They are not money machines.
Thank you for this video, I had no idea of any of this. What a crazy world. My baby is so precious I can’t imagine people doing those horrible things. He’s gonna live an amazing long life ❤
Great video Ruben. You were the first pitbull / bully spokesman i found likevtwo years ago. Ive learned a lot. My classic bully girl is 2 now and she is the best dog ive ever had.

I appreciate all the information. I'm used to having European great danes, which are a bit more aggressive than the American great dane. They require a lot of training, and socialization, which a lot of people don't realize. If you have 170 lb dog like I did he's in heaven now. I was going to make a suggestion that you partner up with a pet insurance company and get them to sponsor you, because I see a lot of people struggling especially now to afford to pay for vet care, with everything else being so expensive now. Also people if you're considering getting a dog, please make sure that you have the funds to care for your dog, the time to train your dog, to bond with your dog. Also make sure that you have time to socialize your dog, and to make sure that you have the funds to make sure they get the proper vet care, and all the supplies that they need. I know that the next dogs that I get I'm going to make sure that I rescue, I see a lot of people that have a good intentions about rescuing, which I strongly Advocate versus buying a breed, it doesn't matter what breed it is, make sure that you spend time with the dog if you have other pets you need to see what the background is on the animals, it doesn't matter what breed especially a giant or large breed dog or dog that has a predisposition to have inbred personality issues, it's not the dogs fault it's people that hobby breed. as people to please consider the stuff that I listed above and please don't just rescue a dog because you know you're saving a life only to put the dog outside and leave it outside without ever really interacting with it other than to feed and water it which is great, but you're going to want it with the dog with temperamental issues, and it's not healthy for the dog. Please do not buy from irresponsible breeders and please don't buy any breed of dog if at all possible please Foster or rescue. Please consider Senior Dogs some of the dogs especially pitbulls I see most of the dogs, I've seen I would say at least 85% of the dogs to 90%, and the pounds all around Atlanta Georgia are some form of bully breed, most are between the ages of five and seven, there are some puppies, that there are a lot of Senior Dogs too that people just sometimes decide oh we just don't want the dog anymore, it's not the dogs fault! please do your homework, be kind to one another, please be kind all animals report animal abuse of any kind, neglect is a big one, if you see one that's being mistreated in any form please report them immediately to the police and to the local Animal Control Officers. God bless everyone. I'm sorry for going off on tangent but I just felt need to put that out there because I see so many bully breeds just dropped out here where I live at ☹
Getting my first American Bully XL around February! i’m so hyped. I’ve taken all precautions and my friend who’s an expert is gonna guide me: This dog is gonna be my whole life
Greetings from Sweden! Got one wonderful pure breed bluenose Bully Girl from a dog shelter and she is just awesome. Im used to Pitbulls, i had them for about 30 years. The AB is just awesome, the looks of a Pitbull and the mind of a baby :D
I know I left like a page of a comment, I really wanted to tell you thank you again for really touching point on a lot of stuff that people just gloss over. Especially I appreciate the comment about not buying dogs just to start a breeding program on their own. If people are going to be breeding dogs they need to be very knowledgeable, and have a lot of experience, and have a very high quality breeding stock, and Screen potential buyers. thank you again God bless you. I'm looking into getting a bully breed, I'm wanting to rescue one, so I'm doing my homework because I'm used to Giant breed dogs and I used to training and owning Rottweilers, German shepherds, and of course the European Great Dane.
Great tips! Anyone buying a bully to make yourself look better, need not apply! You get a bully to hopefully give them a beautiful life and share a passion for this breed. They’re not accessories! Great video.
😢 Also, make sure to heartworm your dogs. We got a dog that was heartworm positive. Shame on the breeder. Now I'm spending money just to get her healthy. She's a sweet girl tho. So I wouldn't trade her.
Our XL American bully is 10 months old 95lbs tri-color blue nose. He wasn't cheap but he has perfect health. He requires little exercise and I try to keep him on the ground to avoid hip/joint issues. Had to get a fence for zoomies. He from an amazing breeder well known in our family. All in so far were well over 10k (dog, vet, professional training, food, accessories). Well worth it but he is alot! 3 bedroom 2 bath full house with half an acre any less I would get a smaller dog. Wish I could add a picture.
We found our AB at S.S.K Kennels Feddie has an amazing line we couldn't be happier we did our research like you said, And it's obviously not a first time adopting a dog this is my 6 in my lifetime.
Yes these tips were very helpful. I will definitely be looking for a good vet, thinking about the type of security we have for our dog’s protection and diet and exercise. The exercise stood out for me because I need it so I hope that the dogs needs will inspire me to not just see it as a routine but discipline for myself to stay consistent. I look forward to be a responsible owner/momma of my fur baby
I have a 5 month old blue pocket, he’s amazing! but we have a long way to go with eachother… but I’ve definitely been thinking financial wise, I need to start saving “vet money” 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I dont have an American Bully I Have a apbt but I support American bullys cause The Staffie, American Bully, The Bull Terrior and so manny Bully breeds are all Amazing dogs 🐕
Thanks for this video. I have been researching and saving for an American Bully. I have interacted with Breeders and some are very cool and others are very arrogant.
The Bully I have is basically a rescue dog. When I got him he was 6mo old. The people I got him from had him in a pin with 2 adult male Rottweilers and he was cowed down and timid when I got him. That was April last yr. Now he's happy healthy & very confident. I've been working on training him & your videos have really helped out. I've noticed he's very clingy when it comes to me. I have a question is separation anxiety normal for this breed. I'm working on training him for a medical service dog. But I know not to start to soon. When he should react he does like a fully trained service dog. Very smart. I'm just familiar with the breed
the best tip you gave was don't jump straight into the bully breeding business you have to love the dogs you have to love the breed if you do not don't chase the money cuz dogs can test your faith but they are some of the greatest dogs to work with in the world
Great video great credibility, loved the video. As someone who bought my XL just outta compulsion. My childhood best friend transition that same week I really did it to get my mind off life.. boy did I not realize what I got my self into! (Only commenting to get more involved in the bully community,Jon speak on shit fr💯)
Similar situation with me. My brother transitioned about a month ago and a few days later I got an XL out of compulsion and need to get outta my head with emotions. Its been crazy but I love him
I have just purchased an American Bully Standard. 10 weeks old. How do I train the dog sensibly to obey commands so he can protect the family and be friendly with friends and family only.
My bully came from standard parents, and he's 21 inches at the withers, at eight months. So now is he an XL Bully? I know he's got XL in one of his grandparents.
My standard bully is about 15 weeks and around 23 pounds, I’ve been feeding high quality kibble, giving lots of exercise and feeding him chicken paws, eggs on occasion, and berries. Should I be worried about his low weight? Or is it okay?
Make sure you dont do too high a protein level , use a raised bowl. And don't put too much weight on until after 18 months when bone plates close as doing these will keep the legs and joints straight so they feet stay straight. If you put on too much weight it will cause knucking or crooked feet.
I had a staff for 14 years he was long legged, a decent size good as gold. I Love how bully looks and been watching videos for a year old ... What is the best type pocket or XL I'm generally confused at the moment
Thank you very much this video was very helpful. We just got an eight-week-old XL bully. He is going to be a very loved family dog we also plan on getting him into some training classes as well. I wanted to ask you how they are with small dogs? Like I said he's only 8 weeks old and we had him for four days now we have two small Pomeranian dogs do you think they will grow to love each other? I do have some concerns and anxiety abit. He does nip while playing will he outgrow this?
Hey Brother, Great videos! By the way, I have a 7 week American Bully Standard and he is 7 Pounds? Should I worry being him underweight? I am feeding him Royal Canine Maxi Starter. Should I include anything on his diet?
I wouldn't say dogs under 2000 is sketchy you can still get a nice looking pocket or classic for that price (from breeders just starting out tryna get their name out there) it's all about the bloodline man
I am having a pocket size bully of 2 months ... But its weight is low .... He travelled alot in 2 months ... I am feeding him a stater pack of pedigree .... What should I do to maintain his weight? Should I change his food
@@topbullies8536 I’m wondering everything I look at there trying to build the dog but is giving it normal dog food keeping in house most the time still good for it or should I look at different dogs
Hello I just got an Purebred American bulldog puppy that what his paperwork says but he looks more like at pit bull he’s 2 months I’ve been doing potty training he learns really fast but I have a few questions so should I leave him in a cage while I’m at work ? When is the best time to start obedient training and also what is a great dog food that helps put on weight
When you get to training don't be afraid to be physical with your dog. (Not hurting them) they will test you. My dog would try dominating me all the time and try biting me to do so. Until I straight out punched him in the head, in other words giving the behaviour right back to him. Has never physically cHallenged me since. I don't mean to go out and start punching dogs in the face either what I mean is you can't allow a powerful working breed to take it to a level where someone or the dog will end up hurt.
I was told it when I got a pitty and I'll tell others too. Males specifically but females too, will test you. Mine still tries the alligator roll on the leash and that type of immature crap when we both know he's more capable than behaving. I never put up with it and the key thing is STAY A 0.2 LEVEL OF DOMINANCE ABOVE! IF THEY ARE PUSHING IT TO A POINT WHERE YOURE NOT 100% CONFIDENT YOU CAN PHYSICALLY HANDLE IT. PIN, OR WHATEVER YOU NEED TO TO PUT THEM IN THEIR PLACE.
Good Advices, why on earth would anyone co own a dog! first I heard of this going on, if you cant afford one dont buy one, I still wish they would not cut their ears ever they are not ment to be cut for our sake to look mean. Dont buy to just create a social media for cash, or to bread for your own profit to give to those irresponsible owners which give them a bad rap as there were two more incidents in news again
How many of these does Chip (the full-blooded APBT we got a year ago from a shelter for those who don't know) qualify for? 1. Shelter got what shelter got, lol. I didn't even know he WAS a pitbull until we saw the paperwork. Just a cute dog who wasn't mega hyper. 2. We ballparked it. I always ballpark high just in case and he wasn't THAT expensive, thank god. 3. That's just good advice for all breeds, honestly. Hip dysplasia and that's it according to embark and our vet. 4. We've been ON this one because I'm a big ol' fatass (down to 292 thanks to this gout flare and the roid rage from the prednisone forcing me to walk way, way, way more. Chip's been loving that.) 1.5 cups of kibble a day and my wife buys good kibble. No wheat or corn or whatever it was that a ton of shit dog foods have. Sometimes, we give him rice, veg, and chimken. Rarely. When he's the bestest boy. 5. Yes. Chip must know my limits when exercising. I wholeheartedly agree. Thank god he gets it. Thank fucking god he gets it. Chronic pain kinda sucks. Luckily we get him to the dog park and we've got a runner and other such things. He just likes when we spend time with him, like the bestest boy he is. 6. We own guns, I'm always home, and he's always within eyeshot. If he's outside, I'm outside. And he's ALWAYS on a leash because we have an asshole neighbor and I don't want to give that numb cunt any excuses to call SCRAPS on us. 7. Not applicable. Good advice regardless. 8. Not applicable. Like his nuts. :P But we have a buddy who has a Shiba whom he wants to breed. Literally ALL of his friends have told him this is a TERRIBLE idea but he's insistent. Thank god he lives in California and not up here in Washington. On his own head be it. 9. Done and done. Our vet better be good for what we're paying her (she really is.) 10. I can't find a good APBT community so I just slum around with yours and Beckman's comments sections, lol. That was fun. I love doing shit like this. :P

Great advise with explanation . Thanks ❤
Very good tips. Appreciate it. I just got 1.
I am currently looking at American Bullies, as they're my dream dog. A service dog prospect.
Great video bro I liked the way you show expenses and the way you break it down 👍🏽💯
Of course!!
I agree. People don’t think of that when they get a pet
Excellent video!! Agree with all the tips!
The vet one is very helpful
I have a 5 month old blue pocket, he’s amazing! but we have a long way to go with eachother… but I’ve definitely been thinking financial wise, I need to start saving “vet money” 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thanks this was a great video.
Its very helpful Sir... Thanks... 👍👍👍
I dont have an American Bully I Have a apbt but I support American bullys cause The Staffie, American Bully, The Bull Terrior and so manny Bully breeds are all Amazing dogs 🐕
Nice!
my top three tips you gave 💋🫶🏿 ✌🏿#10 #4 #2 and the honorable mention that i didn’t consider is #6...Thank you watching your training video next
I got an XL and a pocket lord the Xl hardly fits in his crate I crate them when I’m not home cause he loves to eat what he’s not supposed to❤️
My ex has an American Bully. I loved that dog. He was a better companion than my ex. Since we went our separate ways, I wonder how my Bear is doing.
Probably much better now with a good mom finally.
Thanks for this video. I have been researching and saving for an American Bully. I have interacted with Breeders and some are very cool and others are very arrogant.
I like your videos bro I just got myself a American bully. 💯💯
I've been training dogs all my life and I'm a husky owner^^ And this might be my next breed when I move to the States❤
I’m getting ready to go meet a blue rescue today. We are happy to have a rescue bully
the best tip you gave was don't jump straight into the bully breeding business you have to love the dogs you have to love the breed if you do not don't chase the money cuz dogs can test your faith but they are some of the greatest dogs to work with in the world
I agree!
Lol last week I just spent waaayy too much on jackets/ cloths for my new puppy 😆
I love your videos I always try to stay on time 😂
Your doing it!
These dogs usually fill out around the 2 year mark
Make sure you dont do too high a protein level , use a raised bowl. And don't put too much weight on until after 18 months when bone plates close as doing these will keep the legs and joints straight so they feet stay straight. If you put on too much weight it will cause knucking or crooked feet.
Chicken you should stay away from
I had a staff for 14 years he was long legged, a decent size good as gold. I Love how bully looks and been watching videos for a year old ... What is the best type pocket or XL I'm generally confused at the moment
Thank you so much for the tips! My boy will be 2 in January and he is still pulling when on walks! Any advice ?
Appreciate you brother
Appreciate that bro!
I've been looking for an quality apbt in denver. But all I have found are backyard craigslist breeders. Love your training videos man .✌🏼
Check out some groups here in Denver!
@@topbullies8536 Will do. Any recommendations?

A close friend of mine just gifted me a female pocket and she’s beautiful
Thank you very much this video was very helpful. We just got an eight-week-old XL bully. He is going to be a very loved family dog we also plan on getting him into some training classes as well. I wanted to ask you how they are with small dogs? Like I said he's only 8 weeks old and we had him for four days now we have two small Pomeranian dogs do you think they will grow to love each other? I do have some concerns and anxiety abit. He does nip while playing will he outgrow this?
Also the best tip you gave me today was about the vet . Thank you
I could use some ideals on training my bully she is 20 months old 23 inches tall and weighs 78 pounds she does good on a leash and listens
This my first Billie wanting to know more about the breed of the dog and how to take care of it
Hey Brother, Great videos!
By the way, I have a 7 week American Bully Standard and he is 7 Pounds? Should I worry being him underweight? I am feeding him Royal Canine Maxi Starter. Should I include anything on his diet?
No, they are so little at that age!
Hey im getting a dog tmr how do i make it to not bite me or anÿ of my family members and what type of food should i get it and toys??
I paid $800 for my beautiful brindle American Female BULLIE.
I paid $400 for my male. Got him from friends in the process of moving that had an oopsie batch of puppies.
Would a standard work for a 2 bedroom apartment and for a first time dog owner
Bro I like the collar where did you buy it ? Amazon?
I got my first bully today 10 weeks any advice
I wouldn't say dogs under 2000 is sketchy you can still get a nice looking pocket or classic for that price (from breeders just starting out tryna get their name out there) it's all about the bloodline man
I say that because of scams mostly. Not the dogs.
I agree. I got mine for 1200, because I wasn't looking for his papers for breeding. If not he's be 1800. Beautiful pup, and amazing temperament!
Been thinking about getting a bully, whats the whole news about metle lilac or other exotic colors being bad for health?
Yeeee luv this.
I am having a pocket size bully of 2 months ... But its weight is low .... He travelled alot in 2 months ... I am feeding him a stater pack of pedigree .... What should I do to maintain his weight? Should I change his food
Yea change food, get more nutrients in there
@@topbullies8536 Sir can u suggest any diet or ather nutrient food for him which is available in India ..
Should I get a pup or a year old
I’m new too bully’s but I love em n finally can afford one .

@@topbullies8536 thanks !!
What if your just trying to house keep and don’t care for the muscular and other stuff will it be necessary
I have other tips on the channel you can check out!
Crate is not bad. Training starts day 1
I have a 3 bhk flat 3 bedrooms , 3 washrooms and a big living room with a balcony is it okay to get an American Bully XL ???????
Sure, however you see fit!
How big are the xl bullies?
Very informative man. You know you're shit. I own bullies. You're awesome. I am following
Thanks!
My dog was obviously not hurt or effected emotionally.
Thanks for this I sometimes feel bad for putting my dog in it’s place
Dont buy to just create a social media for cash, or to bread for your own profit to give to those irresponsible owners which give them a bad rap as there were two more incidents in news again
pls is rabbit good for americanbully i give9 mineraw minsmeat with fish salmon am i doingright
Our vet better be good for what we're paying her (she really is.)
10. I can't find a good APBT community so I just slum around with yours and Beckman's comments sections, lol.
That was fun. I love doing shit like this. :P
You got it down man!
@@topbullies8536 Hand to god, dude, I am STUNNED we got as much right and as little wrong as we did. Much thanks to you though. Your videos have been invaluable.
@@MaxAngor I appreciate the great feedback!

I have a Standard Bully I spend approximately $300 Canadian a month.
My bully like 7months now almost 60lbs is that good
My dad gave me an American bully from a rescue and I have so many questions about them
The best tip was to breed for health not looks. Waiting on my 2 year old pocket medical report as I type this.
I have an 7 months American bully he has a skin problem like hives when ever I give him tablets prefered by doctor it will go off ther after 2 to 3 days it will appear again is ther any permanent solution for it ?
Maybe change the diet overall
Okay
I was told hypoallergenic food by the vet
@@topbullies8536 oh ok even i need to start it can you please tell me what is the vegitarian diet which i should give to my bully because I dont have any idea on it
Try probiotics. My dog had a skin infection and it was from gut bacteria and they worked for me.
I have the American bully pocket
