- Such a delight to speak with Saim Sadiq. As an aspiring film maker I was fangirling my way throughout the conversation. We had such an amazing talk off camera too where I was also served tea.. love the fringe benefits of making new friends. He doesn't have an insecure cell in him and his growing body of work speaks volumes about the kindness he wants to perpetuate through his craft. His movie Joyland has been selected as an Oscar submission from Pakistan and I'm already manifesting that he wins it and brings another Oscar home!

I had chance to check out Joyland at tiff couple of weeks back and it was a powerful film and a much needed film. Another great ep!
