The latches on the end are designed for attaching two stands on top of each other for transport or storage and not side by side. Carrying 2 latched together is a bit of a pain though without the carrying strap. Great though for keeping them together in the truck. The V-Grooves on the top give round objects like pipe a more secure hold to work on. The V-Grooves on the bottom (and at each end) allow you to hang the stands on a wall via a nail or hook. That's how I store my stands. The holes you see on the top of the unit are great for securing a 2x4 if you want to maximize its use as a sawhorse. I own 2 of these multifunctional work stands and they've proven to be a worthwhile investment. I now only pull out the heavy duty mitre saw stand for big jobs, long lumber.
@ JP Slattery lol - I was just going to say the same thing.. @Hammer and Home you might consider knowing your tool before reviewing them... maybe read the owners manual if you're not sure. That way you're not spreading bad info...
The latches on the end allow them to stack not expand end to end.The legs would clash. The rubber button and the hole at each end are for alignment then the latches bind them so you can carry two at once and free up a hand for holding your beer.
Never seen anyone mount a board to the brackets. Got me thinking about making wings/longer plywood wings and have the saw fit between them. They would be nice and solid being able to lock them into the stand. Or use the mounts for the saw and then use that clamping channel to tighten up some wings for it. Appreciate the video. Will this stand fit a full size 12” miter saw from Dewalt?

They have since released a version with extendable material supports on the sides. Love it!
Thanks for the video Sir, I've been wanting to grab one of these.
Glad you enjoyed it👍

Yes it will fit any saw. Just make your base larger.
I’ll be making a table with wings for it soon. I’ll do a video on it.
hello😃
do you know if it works for the dewalt dws 779 miter saw???
you can really attach the arms on to any saw. i actually attached mine to plywood so i can set anything on it
Great video, THANK YOU
You’re welcome, and thank you
My DeWalt clamps don't go into that channel, I am still wondering what is that channel for?
Join the club. It must be for something they haven’t released, I’m guessing
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing! :)
No problem 😊
Without side supports for longer materials this stand is junk. Just get a Pegasus work table instead and you can use it for so much more.
Someone has to be the thread dolt, congratulations.
This stand is perfect for modularity. There’s holes that I can bolt my wings onto it.
