Great video, but I have two questions. 1. In the beginning you said that we should not leave masking fluid for too long on paper. Well, how long exactly? An hour? Two? Five minutes? I mean, what is the upper limit? 2.Can masking fluid be applied in drawing with pencils and charcoal on smooth paper, not just watercolor?

Very good, simple instruction.
Could I use art masking fluid to outline a drawing in order to avoid watercolor leaking outside the lines?
Angel Martin just use masking tape?
I think a lot of people are using it this way! you can see it iraville use here th-cam.com/video/kvkjnP5soAA/w-d-xo.html
Is masking fluid safe to use on skin for handprints? Tks
no matter what I do the masking fluid drys on the brush too quickly so I can't have small intricate details -_-
Very late reply, but in case you didn't find out already, you can get masking fluid in pen form, which allows you to draw fine details easily.
What paper did you used for this video??
Very relevant and good question. It's important that the paper be at least 400 gsm Or more😏🙄
Lovely ❤️❤️
Can I use for plastic surface???
Thank you!
Can masking fluid be used on wood with regular house paint?
I asked this in a specialist art shop, they said the masking fluid can sink into the wood and not come off properly at the end. Hope that helps a bit
@@sarahtaylor6322 I sealed my painted wood with Aqua Guard, then applied the liquid. I'll see how it turns out.
@@ACB2K oh, do say how it turns out, be really useful to know!
Peels off. Don’t do that
Does it tear 100% cotton watercolour paper?
It should be fine as long as your paper is 100% dry. If in doubt, try it on a scrap of the paper first, as all papers behave differently.
That stuff also took the paper off not cool
Either your paper is too soft, wasn't completely dry or the actual masking fluid seemed dry on the outside but wasnt
Very important point is missing here. Paper has to be 400 gsm Or more😏

Useless instruction..
Obnoxious music is not a benefit to any video.
