So if land tittles issued from 1998 in wetland were issued unlawfully by government institutions to people. Then the government is obliged to pay Ugandans who own such titles. Please leaders be educated enough 😢
Educated enough, waliwo okubeera educated nga no common sense. Uganda ogiyise bulaya where everyone is involved? Uganda babbi, those land titles you are talking about were issued and approved by local government not the governemnt in general
Nema must pay..those people..Nema is not Land board..those titles were 1900 the Kabaka Chwa..and those are Ugandans as Binified occupant..eg if Nema wants the land..did it consult the Land loard..Means they have to consult Mengo first and then check their tenancy and if evicted..they had to get the justice..Nema is just a Management authority not as evictees or brokers of the land lord....in Buganda remember that land is not communal or if tha owner wants the land for any purpose he she has to pay the occupants..in order for him to repossess his land..paying relocation fees is just pocket money to government..Here in Abudhabi locals were relocated to the outskirts but still they were given other better services ,,new houses and packages in terms of money as settlement plan..
