Yep. Me. That’s why you have to watch movies in the language you’re trying to learn, that way you can practice without actually talking to anyone, plus learn conversations and common vocabulary.
Funny thing is, this is the best way to learn a language. Just going out and speaking to people who do speak it can help tremendously with vocabulary and understanding/comprehension
when i try to speak in urdu with my friends they make fun of me and call me white washed, but when i speak it with my family they are always so excited, i forgot where i was going with this

I'm a Mexican(but raised in VA) that sounds like a semi-country white girl and even though I knew a lot of Spanish words, I was so scared to pronounce them and bc of that, I was REALLY bad at speaking in Spanish despite understanding it. So anyway, I pay for the duolingo app now and do a TON of the speaking exercises and now I can actually speak spanish properly. I've noticed with both beatboxing and Spanish that the longer I go without doing it, the harder it becomes bc the muscles that are used weaken. I make myself speak out loud in Spanish every day so I don't lose my rolling Rs and other abilities😅
It depends on where you try to speak Spanish, in Spain they tend to be like this but in most of Latin America they'll be super patient with you and even compliment your Spanish just to make you feel better for trying, even if it wasn't great 😅😊
