Representative Deb Haaland is fierce. Was perhaps the best speaker at the State Democratic Pre-Primary Convention just two weeks ago at Buffalo Thunder, north of Santa Fe. Unlike the confederates that moved to the Gila River valley after losing the Civil War, proud to say they've been a rancher for five generations, Deb Haaland was proud to say that she is a 35th generation native. On stage with her acceptance speech was our own Francis Gonzales. Made all 20 Grant County delegates very proud. Deb was a great speaker. Proud to be a Democrat.
Thank you for sharing this video. At this time there is much turmoil over statues and other monuments that Americans hold dear to them. Many of these americans say that their history is being destroyed and that these statues and monuments are of religious importance. But, how is it not okay to destroy their history and religious importance but is okay to destroy Native American places of history and religious importance?!!
Its absurd we're even here. If someone wanted to mine at a classic southern Baptist church people would be a blaze on how the mining company cannot do that. Our scared places dont need big churches with pews and preachers, Sunday school class rooms. Our scared places need water, animals, clean air, clean dirt and of course the original people who preserved the life there.
