I hope somebody gets the theme here, Nacht had an instrumental song and it was the first map, Tag has an instrumental song and it is the finale, you have to admit that it makes sense and is pretty clever, especially considering the names of the two maps as well, Nacht Der Untoten "Night of the Undead" and Tag Der Toten "Day of the Dead".
I used o get angry that they were ending it on call of the Dead but then it got to me that it was fitting to end the story on George Romero’s map since he was pretty much the father of zombies
Undone was never meant to be in Nacht, it was originally added in BO1 Nacht because "Undone" was music that was cut from BO1s campaign and was never used there
And I thought The Gift felt like The End.....but this. This IS The End. It sounds like one great payoff, and surprisingly uplifting for being a Zombies Song. This song just screams all of Zombies, wrapped up with a nice little ~wolf~ Bow.
I just realized that there are parts of every map in this one song. I think that perfectly ends the storyline. It’s kind of poetic in a way. Thank you Kevin, and thanks to everyone who worked on zombies. It’s been my life since I was 8 all the way back since Nacht. It’s sad to see it all end.
Aidin Carracher i was looking for a comment like this. I couldn't agree more. Just the memories of every map come rushing down like a waterfall back from Nacht Der Untoten all the way to Tag Der Toten is a very emotional trip indeed. Can't tell you the number of times I teared up just listening to this and having those memories. Unforgettable.
This song sounds like it could be the "final boss" music, Shame we didn't get a boss fight in Tag Der Toten, or maybe a "Great War" map. Still sounds incredibility badass especially at 4:54.
I feel like during the last part of the boss fight, where the circle closes, everything broken should be disabled, mostly elixirs, and that it should last longer cause if you have bandolier bandit and a thundergun and any specialist weapon you can't die
All I hear is what sounds like a bit of pareidolia either in the middle or after the start of the song but I don't hear anything else.....I will have to listen to it more.Edit: I heard a bit of damned at the start.
This song puts me in a waterfall of tears every time I activate the song on the map. The melody just depicts that it’s a culmination of past events and sadness to get you ready to bid your farewells to the story and characters (all of them). Then comes the uplifting moment that reminds you that fight is not over yet and you must survive!
The more I think about it this song fits the map more than you may think, to me the song is sad and melancholy just like the map itself. With no lyrics just instruments it does more justice to the map than any of the singers could. 3:07-4:53 always makes me sad.
I don’t think there’s ever been a track that made me so emotional, even ignoring the ending. It’s a beautiful instrumental ode to Zombies, a perfect ending track.
I haven't played any of the recent zombie maps, but I realised I didn't need the maps. This playlist, right here, is all I need from CoD. This music is a masterpiece
I can’t stand the fact that people are hating on this bc it doesn’t have vocals. People really don’t appreciate music anymore if it doesn’t have vocals huh? And I get that people wanted some kind of collab for the last song of COD Zombies, but I think instrumental was the way to go. It ended just like it started, only instruments and no words. Thank you Kevin Sherwood for your incredible work on this series. You are a true legend!
What a way to end a perfectly good story... You start off with a test and end with such a masterpiece... I just wish that the legendary story never ended...
The beauty behind every note and every melody being not only original but a remaster of something from before, merging the two into a work of art that can depict not only the entire emotional journey we've all been a part of since day 1, but the emotional journey our beloved characters have had to struggle with. Kevin Sherwood, you are a godsend in the music community and I genuinely believe no one can display such story and emotion without a single word, and even when there are words, the continuity and presentation is impeccable.
I'm just gonna go back through all your old music and cry over the ending. Please keep doing music man, it was so great for the maps. Listened since I was like 9. 19 now.
The perfect ending song would honestly be an Avenged Sevenfold & Elena Siegman duet. Avenged Sevenfold vocals + this track would be GODLY. Not to mention this sounds like Avenged Sevenfold.
I love it so much. I love how the video starts and ends with that one meteor because in that universe, it all started when a meteorite of Element 115 was discovered. A single event that led to a grand epic story spanning the multiverse that finally came to an end.
I would really like some tabs for the bit in the middle at 3:00 to 4:00 That would be amazing man, thank you for all the amazing music you have done for the zombies storyline, you really pulled out all the stops for this one
as much as i wanted an epic collab like everyone else, i actually think it's perfect to end it like it began: with a sick instrumental. thank you for the years of amazing music, Kevin! i hope this isn't the end.
I like how nacht song was a instrumental and now ending with a instrumental very nice and thank you kevin for all the bad ass jams you gave us over a decade
3:01 makes me want to hug someone close to me. like a memory. a good memory. it's sad and beautiful at the same time. wants me to confess and make up for the last time.
A Light in The Shore is a gear in Tag's theme of being the opposite of Nacht since Tag is in the sunrise while Nacht is in full moon darkness and Nacht's BO1/BI3 easter egg song is somber and slow with the haunting guitars and drums while A Light is more energetic and the instruments tells you via sound that shit's going to get real coming to the end of Aether
God, this is just...this is great. All the feels of Black Ops, and finally the series of Zombies comes to a close with 1. My favorite map of all time 2. This song - The "Damned" theme in the beginning, the elements of 115 and Pareidolia in there, it's just...great. 3. Everything else, really
The legendary story started with an instrumental track. And now it’s more than fitting it ended with an instrumental track. Many of us discovered not only the legends of Treyarch sound through zombies, but also Avenged Sevenfold, Motörhead, and Johnny Cash.
The first zombies Easter egg song was lullaby for a deadman. Common misconception is that "undone" is the first except undone was added in the black ops 1 version of nacht
Oh man this is surreal, i remember the first time i listened to lullaby for a dead man it was my intro into your work kevin and got me hooked on playing zombies when i was in middle school , now im 21 and can't believe its all coming to a close
Are there 2 easter egg songs? This is some nice guitar shredding, but it doesn't extactly feel like a finale to me. Where's Elena, Clark or Malukah? I was hoping for more I guess.

This song just screams all of Zombies, wrapped up with a nice little ~wolf~ Bow.
I want a two player zombies mode continues after tag der toten follows story of Samantha and eddy(Richtofen) both full grown adults
Its not over yet.
It will never end
Unforgettable.
i expected some mega collab beetwen Elena, Malukah, Clark and Avenged Sevenfold... but this works... i guess
Yeah another Archangel would've been nice
man i wanted vocals. The guitar are fine but i don't like no vocals :c
Teemu > whole avenged sevenfold. I am fine with this :).
Has some StarCraft vibes
@@JasperSchwinghammer who the F is teemu, except a LoL champion
@@sacarymoviesamu the vocals from Ozzy Ozbourne would be nice along with Elena Siegeman and avenged sevenfold
I love how this is an instrumental. Ties it back to Undone so that we can the music go full circle
Johnny undone was added in bo1 tho, lullaby of a deadman was the original song
Superslash WTF Was the original song technically.
Superslash ye I know but you still had WTF and UHF which were both still instrumentals if you don’t count Undone
Nacht Der Untoten has an instrumental song
Tag Der Toten has also an instrumental song
a song where night and day is just about to start
Adam Nelvin I’m German and Nacht means night and tag means day. This could actually have been planned
Nacht Der Untoten = Night of the Undead
Tag Der Toten = Day of the Dead
All's well that ends well.
This song sounds like it could be the "final boss" music, Shame we didn't get a boss fight in Tag Der Toten, or maybe a "Great War" map. Still sounds incredibility badass especially at 4:54.
I feel like during the last part of the boss fight, where the circle closes, everything broken should be disabled, mostly elixirs, and that it should last longer cause if you have bandolier bandit and a thundergun and any specialist weapon you can't die
bruh having a Great War map will dissapoint zombies players who are interested in the Lore since winning the Great War means nothing
We were never going to get a Great War map. It was all to get Primis and Ultimis together to finally put an end to everything
Is this like a bit of a mix of medleys from all the maps cause it feels like there is some different map themes in here a bit
now that I read this I'm starting to recognize the waw themes mixed in here
All I hear is what sounds like a bit of pareidolia either in the middle or after the start of the song but I don't hear anything else.....I will have to listen to it more.Edit: I heard a bit of damned at the start.
I heard an *Ascension* sound and *Call of the Dead* melody.
You can hear Not Ready To Die by A7X at 3:50.
@@armalitexelite1193 that's a song I have not listened to so I didn't notice that was there.
Beautiful as always! Please don't ever stop making these types of songs!
I don’t think there’s ever been a track that made me so emotional, even ignoring the ending. It’s a beautiful instrumental ode to Zombies, a perfect ending track.
I really love the visuals you added to spice up the end of the aether storyline
I always wanted a mash-up of all of the songs...and I love that this does both that and still sounds unique and original...this is perfect.
"Every story has a beginning and an end..." but there are no ends. Only just beginnings! 🔮
(Also this is sounds like an end credits music)
What a way to end a perfectly good story...
You start off with a test and end with such a masterpiece...
I just wish that the legendary story never ended...
Haha... Yeah, about that.....
Thank you for 10 years. It's been great. It's quite poetic. The series began with an easter egg song without lyrics and now ends with one.
"Richtofen... if this is it..."
"I know Sammy... I found you mildly amusing too..."
I'm just gonna go back through all your old music and cry over the ending. Please keep doing music man, it was so great for the maps. Listened since I was like 9. 19 now.
This song wasn’t another archangel but it is still amazing and the more I listen to it, the more I get chills just hearing this masterpiece
The story may be over but these tracks you’ve made across the years will never ever be forgotten
The perfect ending song would honestly be an Avenged Sevenfold & Elena Siegman duet. Avenged Sevenfold vocals + this track would be GODLY. Not to mention this sounds like Avenged Sevenfold.
Or avenged sevenfold with the 3 of them backing him like in arch angel
Papa Harambus I dude That’d be sick
Exist from A7X "The Stage" album vibes? Yes I agree
This song structure kind of mirrors not ready to die which is the ee song of the original map
I love it so much. I love how the video starts and ends with that one meteor because in that universe, it all started when a meteorite of Element 115 was discovered. A single event that led to a grand epic story spanning the multiverse that finally came to an end.
Thank you and your crew for all the great music you guys made!
I would really like some tabs for the bit in the middle at 3:00 to 4:00
That would be amazing man, thank you for all the amazing music you have done for the zombies storyline, you really pulled out all the stops for this one
Bro if anyone can do tabs of any of the more complex parts, they're a literal god.
It all ends as it started like nacht der untoten we had a only instrumental music with a dope guitar now we see it again bois
That’s how I was second guessing my initial thoughts interpreting the song.
Hell ye
Lullaby of a Deadman was the first EE song though, Undone was added in the Nacht remake for BO1.
@@PokeDanny10 it was WTF on the radio in Nacht
PokeDanny10 wrong.
This song is so f**king good, Jesus Christ I keep listening to it over and over.
as much as i wanted an epic collab like everyone else, i actually think it's perfect to end it like it began: with a sick instrumental. thank you for the years of amazing music, Kevin! i hope this isn't the end.
That running part at 4:54 makes my entire body tremble with giddiness! Holy shit that part is so fucking stylish!
La ultima cancion del ultimo mapa de call of duty zombies, ya esta aqui.
Adios zombies, te extrañare :(

Que pinche triste :'(
I like how nacht song was a instrumental and now ending with a instrumental very nice and thank you kevin for all the bad ass jams you gave us over a decade
Is just me or the begining remember Abracadavre? It looks like Damned but a bit remix.
I think it is tho
Definitely damned remixed, that's what I thought at first
It is but its been put into a major key progression instead of the usual minor key we're all used to
Pareidolia at 2:04
THIS IS INCREDIBLE
3:01 makes me want to hug someone close to me. like a memory. a good memory. it's sad and beautiful at the same time. wants me to confess and make up for the last time.
Exactly
Years later this is still the most underrated piece of music to ever come out of CoD Zombies
Beautiful
God, this is just...this is great. All the feels of Black Ops, and finally the series of Zombies comes to a close with
1. My favorite map of all time
2. This song - The "Damned" theme in the beginning, the elements of 115 and Pareidolia in there, it's just...great.
3. Everything else, really
AlextheGamer433 me too its my favorite map and my favorite secret song
The legendary story started with an instrumental track. And now it’s more than fitting it ended with an instrumental track.
Many of us discovered not only the legends of Treyarch sound through zombies, but also Avenged Sevenfold, Motörhead, and Johnny Cash.
The first zombies Easter egg song was lullaby for a deadman.
Common misconception is that "undone" is the first except undone was added in the black ops 1 version of nacht
“We fought for what we wanted. We got more than we deserved.” -Nikolai
When the guitar solo kicks in when you are at the final moments in the EE. Fucking Epic.
wasn't expecting something this fresh man, that sweep picking is super clean!
I love how he integrates different parts of each song from past maps to give you that nostalgic feeling
We may have not got a boss fight but this song really made the end fight feel amazing.
OMG...this story, this song, this moment 3:00....I only can say thanks for all ^^
It makes me weirdly nostalgic.
Sooooo Megadeth for the new Black Ops soundtrack?.
Talk about epic!
Oh man this is surreal, i remember the first time i listened to lullaby for a dead man it was my intro into your work kevin and got me hooked on playing zombies when i was in middle school , now im 21 and can't believe its all coming to a close
I was really hoping for some Elena Siegman.... Really...
Brentar Murderfloof I was hoping for avenged sevenfold or Elena
@@AtomicPuma9 same
Me too... I miss her so much
Gonna go ahead and guess we won't see a lyrical version until the DLC drops.
Me too
Thank you Kevin and everyone who helped out composing these songs. I will always have memories attached to each song.
Are there 2 easter egg songs? This is some nice guitar shredding, but it doesn't extactly feel like a finale to me. Where's Elena, Clark or Malukah? I was hoping for more I guess.
Red, I agree. I hope this isn’t it. Not that it’s not cool, I like it but we need Elena sigman back for the last song. Similar to revelations I guess. But I still will always love Kevin’s work
There is just knock on the door where ultimus were (knife it 3 times first) and knock on it 3 times by press and holding the activation button

@@Brian-tn4cd Elena never worked at Treyarch. She was just paid to come in and sing the lyrics when they needed her
This song is so great man, one of my favorites
Been refreshing for hours for this!
This soundtrack feels like it's the end of an era. The vibes this song is giving off.
so.. the first map NDU have instrumental song and same with final map TDT good thread :(
Can't believe some people are complaining about this having no lyrics. Instrumentals are great, especially for something like Zombies, and ESPECIALLY for the finale of the Aether story as we know it. Excellent work as always. I think I have a new favorite EE song. :)
He accidentaly uploaded the inatrumental. Haha, right...?
Apperently not
:( hope so
Ive played the map theres two songs ive only seen one and it wasnt this
So A7X is second song?
@@opienukez2767 its during the EE, and it's a female, don't think it's malukah or elena though.... super hard to listen to the song because of what's going on. should be uploaded by kevin sometime I hope
I love how it mixes a lot of the older songs together. Really is a culmination of the Aether story
You know about 5 years ago I was 7 and me and my dad would play bo1 zombies and we had so much fun , it was a great time then 2 years later bo2 came out me and my brothers grinded to round 52 on Mob of the dead .Then bo3 I met my best friend Chris and we nonstop played zombies and beat all the eastereggs did literally everything keep in mind I was 10! Then bo4 dark times, me and my friends dodged bo4 completely I have it though we are planning to beat and conquer bo4....this song makes me emotional all the good times kicking ass as Dempsey, making it so no one remembers richtofen, honoring the emperor as tokaio, and drinking vodka as nikiola is all gone it just brings a tear to my eye
I was 7 when I first played zombies. Me and my brother beat the campaign together on WaW. When the zombies cut scene started we were caught off guard. I remember, we got to round 6. It was my first time. Going back and played Nacht makes me sad, because I know it's over. I grew up with zombies. When my grandma and grandpa were fighting I could always go to the one place I felt safe, which ironically was a Nazi zombie infested theater. Im 18 now, thinking back on the last decade of my life... It makes me cry, man. The story, the crews, the music... It's over now. But at least we went out on a high note. Kevin, thank you for such amazing songs over the years.
It is already sad the Aether story is about to end, this beautiful song makes me even more sad.
will never be forgotten
2:13 sound just like the Tank theme from left 4 dead
