Marcos is a nice dude but sorry to say he really hasn’t helped “restore ill niño to prominence,” I had a chance to see them live semi recently & it was embarrassing to be honest, & all the new songs have been lackluster

I like Marcos in Shattered Sun but he’s not the right fit for Ill Niño, honestly the band died after the previous singer left

Love Ill Niño, my favorite band since I was a teenager. Great interview. It is never easy to replace an iconic singer in a band, much less Cristian Machado. I have seen Il Niño performing live at least five times: four in Puerto Rico with Machado & another in Orlando with Marcos. Obviously Leal is not Machado. But as a fan of this magnificent band, I don't intend for Marcos to imitate Cristian. Each one has their strengths. I hope to see you guys again soon and I have a lot of faith in the new album!
