I'll have to make one and have my son do my journaling in it. He was studying to be an architect when he was in high school and has the tiniest printing. Thanks for the inspiration.
I love minis. In fact, making mini books is how I got into bookbinding and then art/junk/creativity journals. I have a tiny collection of tiny journals, some purchased, some made by me. I even made a mini bookcase for them! =D
What a beautiful collection of your junk journals. 😍 😱. I have a total of 3 and have a long long way to go to even come close to yours. I'm learning so much from your videos and finding my own style (although borrowing some of yours 😉) along the way. But having a blast through this journey. Happy crafting. 🥰💙💙💙
Mini books are what I go to when I can’t think of what to do or have a bit of creative block. They are adorable to just display as well as for charms or keychains.
Barbara:it amused me watching you work on this tiny journal. Watching you put a regular size journal together with all that has to be done, and comparing it to this tiny one being put together,- just amused me. Different sizes,- different issues. Carol from California
It's absolutely adorable...but my eyesight would not let me work with such tiny objects...I do enjoy your videos...never miss them...have learned so much from you...keep up the great work...
Baby girl, this is soo cute!! I made an itsy bit journal too, probably about the same size, but it had regular paper, not nearly the detail you put I to this one. I love it!! Love you angel, hope you are well. Hugs, MomK 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗
Hey Barbara. Such a sweet project. So, imperial measurements are divided into equal parts, but not into tenths, as in the metric system. So you have to look at which division is appropriate for your mark: 1/2"; 1or3/4s"; 1,3,5 or 7/8s"; 1,3,5,7,9,11,13 or 15/16s", etc. The metric system is way better!!!
So cute and even smaller than my micro jjs 😍. Love the William Morris on the club this week! I can only add one sheet of paper to my drawer as it pulls more through🙈 unless it's copy paper. I've never managed to line up for double sides. Lol definitely less bulky 🙊. I'm impressed that you got such tiny headbands on there! I do my corners like that 😁. Cool needle! Absolutely adorable 😍😍😍cutest ever! Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
Barbara this turned out so cute! I made some mini journals for a friend which turned out cute. They are a little fiddly to make but fun to do. This looks so cute on the spine of your journal. TFS!❤
Oh wow!!! I asked a few months ago if you might be doing a mini journal - and now you have!!! I'm stuck in bed with a bad head cold at the moment, but I can't wait to get started on one of my own. I'll have to think about getting some stronger glue, but I have everything else. Yay!!! Thank you. 🧡💚🤎
I love this so much! You always inspire me with all you do. Today, I took it a step further and made 2 mini journals of my own. Thank you so much for sharing!
I made a little 2” journal from the DTC Faeries digital last year. Isn’t it fun? They are so cute and somehow, they are not so intimidating when they are tiny. They can be fiddly❤❤ but so worth it. You kept your simple. Making tiny ephemera is fun, too!
Hello Barbara. How lovely mini journal❣ I like everything mini but I have not yet tried to make a book this tiny with several signitures. Will try now. Such a great tutorial. Love from Finland 🫶
Very cute! I made one that's 1.5 x 2 inches, adding my pages and ephemera from my scraps. I closed it with a tag from a tea bag. I enjoyed it but never thought of using it as a charm for a journal. 🙄 Thanks for the idea!
I kept thinking about the Tim Holtz ring fasteners after you said about taking off the jump ring. Well, I set too and made my own with an ordinary paper fastener and a jump ring. I'm a bit pleased with myself! 😂
