Typical Spurs if he is sold. Just added amazing squad depth to that position and with Skipp being out and often injured. I would not sell Hojbjerg. I would look to sell Skipp because I have a feeling, he is going to be injured a lot.
Peh is captain material, yeah we could upgrade cos he sometimes can look one dimensional but his attitude is great and he's a leader

I'd really miss Hojbjerg.He is a fantastic heart of the team. I'm no tactician but he'll be used as Casemiro replacement who probably will be second fiddle (we could also beat Unite to Casemiro in a swap deal). Gil at Hull would be fantastic loan. Even better would be AFC Wimbledon (that is just a local perspective). Before you comment please bear in mind I've been drinking in the hot sun.

Hojbjerg has started all but 2 games since he joined us. Every game apart from 2. Which means every manager that has been here in that time rates him really highly. And I've got new for you guys, even Nuno actually know more about football than 99% of you. So to all of you that don't rate Hojbjerg: You are wrong.
And the difference he has made has been almost nothing
Bulking up is not without its disadvantages. Look how Rashford and Bruno Fernandes declined after bulking up. Some players never get accustomed to playing at a heavier weight and their agility degrades.

I said this on another channel a couple of days ago . Mourinho wants him , it's being said . Let him go on loan to Roma in my opinion . Mourinho trusts him and played him regularly when he was at Spurs . Worst case scenario on a loan with a Mourinho team is that he spends a year being coached by Mourinho in terms of tactics , discipline and physicality by one of the best managers in world football . Reguilon , though , I think we still need . We have cover on the left back and left wing back positions now but not quite so much on the right . Have you noticed , though , that only a couple of the departures have been outright sales . More have been loaned . Could that potentially be to give them proper game time while Conte tests his new signings ? If they'd needed the money urgently for more transfers , they would have pushed for sales this season rather than loans which tells me some of the players loaned out are being tested elsewhere to see if they have a future at Spurs in clubs where they will get game time .
My personal opinion I was sad that we never went for Jesus and Arsenal got him because we need an out and out predator in the box like a Jesus or a Djota , or someone of the like , someone that isn't going to drop back but just stay on the shoulders of the last defenders for a quicker outlet from defence and midfield .
It also seems to me that the clubs Spurs are loaning out players to are good clubs in their own rights and so if the loaned players prove themselves with those clubs , some will be back here next season .

Its a weird one with Bryan. Lacks the physicality, but smashed the infamous run in Korea. His fitness is next level. Obviously has the right attitude and seems like a coaches dream in terms of wanting to progress as a young player. Its just that physical element that's lacking which is one of the attributes you must have to have a chance in the Prem.
Hojberg is not as skilled but he's a workhorse, never gives up! Chips in with a goal here and there. Never gets injured!

I think Gil can find minutes but only if we don’t sign that attacking midfielder which is looking increasingly likely.
We need to keep Hojberg, but with Bentancur, Bissouma and Skipp in the squad, Levy might be tempted to balance the books a bit. It would be a big mistake for me though.

We are going to leave ourselves thin again and undo what we did signing for squad depth in the transfer window. Let's face facts! This transfer window was about adding depth to the squad. No marquee signings to break into the first 11. Now, if we start selling players like Hojbjerg and letting Gil go out on loan, we are starting to make ourselves thin in squad depth again. We just loaned out Tangana and Roden, now Romera seems to be a sick note type of player so why are we repeating previous actions? No way can we sell Hojbjerg with Skipp out and another player often injured like Romero. Big miss for us was no top CB or creative midfielder being signed. That will come back to haunt us if we don't get these positions covered by end of August.

In regards to Harry Winks, it's disrespectful and certainly uncalled for when these guys use their platform to coat the man off. Winks has always demonstrated and still remains totally professional in his approach toward the club. (He's is and will always be a Tottenham boy) and as such deserves a level of respect even if personally we don't think he meets required squad level. Anyway, if Conte does play him then this type of negativity is definitely not helpful in supporting his re- integration back.
Winks has been under the radar for years, he’s not even a good option as a sub with the squad we have now, if he was half decent he would have gone to another premier league club already.
