Removing Cores from Horns the Old Fashioned Way| Powder Horn Prep

The boys are prepping horns from the recent beef harvest. Keeping a hot fire and boiling the horns until the core just slides out is the secret. It's a smelly job, but the immediate gratification makes it worth it. These horns will be made into powder horns to use with their flintlocks and also blowing horns to call in the cattle.
