That was his Dad that the camera kept panning to in the side of audience. It was a surpise visit for Dimash-he didn't know he would be there for the performance. He's so proud of Dimash-you should see the hugs that were given after the performance- real love in that family. Great reaction. I love your chest pats!

Love your reactions. Just looked back and you did SOS first and The Show Must Go Own which is episode 3. Episode 4 should be next which I believe is Late Autumn and so on. Waiting for the next one. I am a USA Dear from Texas, but will not make it to the concert. Hope you do and enjoy it.

Thank you so much for the reaction. There are five high notes that he hits, the first two are C6, then C#6, D6, Eb6. The original artist for this song was Vitas, a Russian singing, Vitas when up one extra note. After hear Dimash's performance he blocked Dimash from ever performing this song again. If someone hasn't already pointed you to Gloria Wu - she has English translations and back story for all the songs in the 2017 Chinese show called "The Singer", there are at least 14 episodes, one each week - th-cam.com/channels/oVncmRa0YGiVwSTokR_zHQ.html
There are 3 channels with videos of Dimash. For most of the 8 non English songs from Singer 2017 use the channel Gloria Wu. It has subtitles for most & there are back stories for some. PLEASE include the story for episode 4 Autumn Strong & episode 7 Daididau & episode 8 Daybreak. You might not be affected by the stories & words but as a woman, every time I hear each song I can't stop crying. And please don't let people convince you to use Daybreak from Bastau instead. Bastau doesn't give the story about the song or the trouble Dimash had the day of the performance.
I think the only correct way of viewing Daybreak is first watching Gloria Wu's video and then immediately watch the Bastau performance after that. That way people get the backstory, they get to hear Dimash struggling with his voice AND they get to see Dimash going all out once he is better. I personally prefer the Bastau version since that was probably how Dimash himself wanted to perform it during The Singer, but was unable to. But I also think that seeing the backstory and seeing Dimash fight through his sickness is essential to every new Dear... so everyone should watch both versions back to back.
