- Why do I feel the need to add an exclamation mark at the end of all of my video titles? Its a puzzle!
New year, new BuJo. I told myself this would be a 10-minute video but I'm a big liar. Here is my 2023 Bullet Journal setup. Hope it's helpful. Enjoy!

bulletjournal....
I love your authenticity. The back pocket symbol is brilliant!
Why thank you ma'am. 🙂
For the usuable blank pages - I (carefully) cut out the pages leaving about 1/4" by the spine and then glue the top edges -> instant notepad. Sometimes I glue a magnet to the back and stick on the fridge.
In reference to the blank pages criticism, im doubly guilty of this. First off, i like to fit a whole year into one book so i use tomoe river paper notebooks that have 384 pages. When i fitst started bullet Journaling it took me a few books to figure out what really worked best for me, so i have 3 bullet journals i only used for 3 months each, in a 384 pg notebook thats like only 1/4 of the book. I have since been using the blank pages in those old bullet journals to work out new spreads and setups before i aply them to my current journal, itll probably take me a long time to use them all up, but theyre basically scratch paper cuz i did feel a little guilty about this too. ❤
12:38 I use a first slash / to represent an in progress task. Then add second \ to complete the X when it's done. Perfect for auto pay of bills or things ordered but not yet done.
That's good I like that.
Hi, Brian! Happy New Year! I always use my blank pages to practice different layouts for future bullet journals. Your channel-delete what you want ☺️
I love your videos! I also appreciate your honesty and authenticness (don’t care; I made it a word). Okay, since I’m a teacher- authenticity, but that sounded so sterile… Thank you for sharing your bujo journey with us!
Thank you for the reminder about the Alistair method! I'd practically forgotten about that, and it might be useful for a notebook I'm setting up.
Thank you for sharing ❤ I like the FrankenLite-Lite! And I am definitely going to track my media this year. We have been steadily getting worse on the TV watching. This way I can show my partner just what we have been doing together and maybe replace it with more board games 😊. Not sure why I didn’t steal this idea sooner. But thanks for the reminder of it. Oh and the extra page thing is a great idea. I am always looking for a spot to test ideas on or random notes that don’t need to be in my current bujo. Now I can use the random extra pages in the other books.
Love the back pocket symbol! I never thought to remind myself when I put stuff in the pocket. Great idea!
"it was mean but also I heard you" - me to my therapist every time
19:42 Yes Brian, you will fit 17 months into that journal, you slacker.😂
16:20 OMG I'm watching this for my review in switching to a new BuJo and I just remembered the tune I had in my head for this little ditty! It's the Lost Woods music from Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time!

You are so refreshing! So fun. And yes I love seeing other people's books hahahaha. Like if you just post yourself daily logging....I think I would watch that....like every day...:)
Well now that's just too much work. ☺️
@@BrianHazardVideos hehehe
Setting up a new journal presently. 😊
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Have fun! ☺️
In the daily section, what does the 3-sided open square mean (next to the dates)?
A solid question!
I do my long-hand journaling on separate pages, so on days when I do long-hand writing I put the page number for the journaling in the bracket for the corresponding day. That way I know which days I journaled when I'm looking at my dirty dailies.
Also I kind of just like how they look. :-)
@@BrianHazardVideos Nice idea. I haven't cross referenced my long-form journal with my dailies even though they are in the same book, but maybe I should.
Did you stop doing GTD in your journal? Do you use GTD anymore?
I did stop using it in my BuJo ever since I left my VP position and no longer needed to track sooooo many things. Just using the standard Bullet Journal practice currently, with some minor adjustments. I still use some GTD aspects here and there, especially the some day/maybe list.

We need a 2024 setup!
Lol... yeah I'm running a bit behind. Setting up a new book presently!
Great song!!!!😂🎉
Everything is cool except for the intro
What!? Nonsense. That intro is fiiiiiiiiiiine! 😅
