In 'Heb je zin?' we'll cover grammar rules that are typically taught on the level CEFR A2/B1. The narration speed is higher than in the first 2 seasons, corresponding to the A2/B1 level.

Ik begrijp de betekenis van "wel" nog steeds niet, zoals in 0:46 😰

'Wel' wordt in deze zin gebruikt zoals je het woord 'really' kan gebruiken in het Engels. De vertaling van de zin "Maar dat is *wel* haar droom" zou in het Engels ook kunnen zijn: "But that is *really* her dream".

Nog even een toevoeging; het woord 'wel' is niet een directe vertaling van 'really', maar dit is afhankelijk van de betekenis van het woord in de zin. "Wel" kan bijvoorbeeld ook als 'actually' vertaald worden. En 'really' kan in bepaalde zinnen beter met "Echt" vertaald worden in het Nederlands. Bijvoorbeeld:
That's really great news > Dat is echt goed nieuws.
That's really what I wanted > Dat is wel wat ik wilde. Maar dit kan ook vertaald worden als: "Dat is eigenlijk wat ik wilde".
Het woord 'wel' wordt dus gebruikt om iets positief te bevestigen.
