We often hear that having “Discipline” is the key to trading success. But many of us traders continue to struggle developing discipline and good habits for trading no matter how hard and how long we’ve tried. Could there be a deeper reason for this?
As fellow human traders, we are commonly faced with our own programming that we are often unaware of. In this special episode, Sam Daghash, a professional coach and co-founder (alongside co-founder David Capablanca, interviewed on CWT episode 257) of the Conscious Trading Academy specializing in helping traders overcome mental barriers, dive into aspects of a trader’s mindset.
If we cannot think greater than we feel, then this would compel us to be more aware of our mental states which can sabotage our trading.

Tessa, next time it's going against you, just sell it, regardless of the rule. Then rebuy a little bit later.
Very often, as soon as you sell the thing it stops moving or reverses.
Trading is not a predetermined game, it's effectively a bunch of guys and their algos watching you on their L2s lol

Yes, In our young adult years in many cultures it is a battle between our own happiness and what makes our parents happy? Should we follow our dreams or live out our parents dreams??? Even those that go to Harvard or Oxford, etc...who are they going there for? I'm saying this , with much respect to my own parents.😉.
Great episode.. much to think about...Cheers.

The problem I have with this thing about not believing you have a limit on how much you can make is that because there will only be so many market participants providing only so much liquidity that means that there is only so much that can be made per trade at any moment.

Wish he gave techniques of how to improve instead of promoting himself. Felt like an ad unfortunately.

A bit sad this guy mentions quantum therapy which is widely accepted to be a pseudo-science. Why listen to people that talk about pseudo science when there are thousands of ways to improve in trading

I got that impression to. STILL I did get some positives out of listening.

The problem with this guy, is that he obviously originated ZERO of the ideas and concepts himself and is instead just reading from the textbook he memorized. Literally anyone can do an NLP course and become a "master practioner" ... it really doesn't mean shit.
