To this day I would go see Anita before I would 85% of the present day singers. Anita is platinum tier all the way. Lyrically she was par excellence. I'm not sure she still writes.

The biggest problem is there are no real musicians left to record something this complex.. the entire session player industry is just gone...Many of the old school players who recorded these great tracks are no longer alive, and the younger generation has no idea what it was all about. There is no money in it anymore anyways... really sad. At least we have all the great albums to listen to

Anita was my go to music when I was 30 and single again and I have never, ever let go of her voice. Yep, I'm a 74 year old male and this woman is eternal in my mind and I hope Anita will keep showing-up for us all.
