- Enjoy some of the sights and sounds of the EPCOT entrance with the original 1982 music loop that made its return for the 40th anniversary of the park! Disney hasn't said how long this loop will play at the entrance, so I really wanted to capture the entrance with the old music asap. I also captured some clips with the loop at sunset and at night. This was all filmed on October 1st 2022

Wow 40 years ! I had visited Disney in 1977 as a 10 year old kid from the Northeast. Didn't make it back until 1990. Hours after my last college final I spent a week in Disney: The additions of EPCOT and what is now Disney Studios absolutely blew me away. Multiple trips later still love it. New thing is to hit the EPCOT food and wine festival every year. Incredibly fun time.
Now this is very nostalgic and relaxing I've actually feel like I'm back in '80s at the 80s what a great way to celebrate 40 years

Hearing this bgm brings back a lot of memories. It's fun to be free at World of Motion was one of my favorites. Always enjoyed the dinosaurs in UoE and Horizons was fascinating to young me. Tfs 4K.
Yes for sure! I am very grateful that Disney brought back this music loop, even if it’s temporary. It’s such a minor change that has a major impact, and makes so many guests happy so hopefully Disney realizes that and continues to do stuff like this for other park anniversaries in the future. Thanks so much Liz! Over the past year or so, Disney installed a bunch of new speakers all around the entrance and now that they brought back the original music, I’m so grateful for them lol. I was there today and this music was still playing, and that 40th beacons of magic played as well! No one seems to know how long this will last, but I’ll keep asking around in hopes that I’ll find someone who knows for sure. Thanks again 😊

It was fun listening to the arrangements to figure out how early in the tune I could place it to the attraction 🙃 This was a wonderful way to spend my lunch hour!!! I only had one visit back then (1984...returning to WDW and Epcot only after 25 years), but the music is something that stood out and stuck with me on that first visit!!!

Our first EPCOT visit was October 1983 and we stood outside and listened to the beautiful music. Amazing was our thoughts. Horizons, Imagination, Spaceship Earth, The Living Seas, World of Motion, Energy and The Land in that order.
My brother and I were there on Opening Day in 1982 and this really brings back the memories! EPCOT was actually open the night before as a soft opening. After spending the day at the Magic Kingdom we took the monorail to EPCOT at 6pm. Left at midnight. Got to ride World of Motion, Universe of Energy, Spaceship Earth, and Listen to the Land the night before it opened! Couldn't believe it. It was a good thing too since many of them (especially Energy) were broken down a lot over the next few days. I was 18, my bro was 14, and we flew cross-country and did the several-day trip by ourselves. I can't imagine my kids doing that. Different times. Thanks for the flashback! Sorry about the long post, but this inspired me!

Yes, I couldn’t believe it when I found out it was back! I had hoped that maybe they would bring back the Innoventions music loop, but this was honestly an even better surprise. It was still playing when I swung by Epcot today, so hopefully it will be around for awhile! I’m so happy you enjoyed this one, thank you so much😊

I always enjoy the Epcot music. Even more than any other park. Maybe because when we're waiting for Epcot to open they're playing the music. Since Epcot has always been the first park we hit when we visit Disney World the music is more memorable to me. Great job 4K!
Same here! This original entrance music loop and the one that played from the early 2000s till 2021 were both some of the best park loops ever for me. And the Future World/Innoventions music is my favorite theme park music loop by far. I miss it so much every time I’m in Epcot. Thanks so much as always!
Sure know how to punch someone in the heart, don't ya? lol This is a great video idea. This was definitely the Epcot that first amazed me back in '96. Hope you consider doing thus in other areas with the music they used back then. Other parks too. Loved it.
Thank you so much Paul! But I didn’t do anything special haha. Disney actually started playing the original entrance music loop at the park again for Epcot’s 40th anniversary! I couldn’t believe they did that, but it was such a nice surprise! I hope they will bring back other music loops for the other 3 parks for their anniversaries in the future!

@@paulfreiberger8505 oh no, that is right from inside of the park! I stood next to the speakers throughout the entire video. Disney recently added new speakers and they’re pretty loud haha
