Is there any way to change the default ink thickness of the text pen?
Do you know when it is going to be avaible on Android?
Is there a way to do this with a handwritten text on paper to convert it to a document?
Hi Aldo, is it possible to ask your friends at OneNote if they will ever build a function that allows one to highlight the pen/stylus tip in the writing area. Something similar to the halo that one can put around the mouse to draw the viewer's attention. If you have a work around for this please share I will be very grateful.
Hey there! The only workaround I can think of is using the laser pointer feature in OneNote but then you can't write with it just point. That would be a great feature for when presenting as it helps people see where your pen is placed
how to hide this extra pen
Previously, it was feature on Galaxy Note 10 series that was heavily highlighted by Samsung 😅
Seems useful for those who mostly writing using stylus like writing on paper
The text pen showed up on a latest update yesterday but it disappeared today. What can I do to fix this?
No it didn't it affected my productivity a lot. Can you please make a solution on how to get it back Please James!@@AldoJames
how come i don't have this feature yet? taking into consideration I'm still on windows and I use the desktop version. i hope you can answer me
I'd trying pushing your OneNote to run updates, sometimes not everyone gets the same release at the same time. Is it there yet for you?
@@AldoJames I tried all the updates, but no, the option still isn't there on my laptop. If anyone knows how to get it to appear, please help.
This must be for the PC version of one note as I can not find this festure on my andoid. A shame becsuse thats the entire reason i bought it. One note does not work well with lenovo built in text converter and the option id down right grayed out and inaccessible on my android. If anyone can help this qould be a blessing. I love one note and this is infuriating. I refuse to buy a stupid surface just for instant use like this this.
This does not appear to be available on my version of OneNote on my laptop. Do I need to have a pen connected?
Are you on Windows 11? You'll also need the latest version of Windows installed
@@AldoJames yes but its dissapeared, can you explain to me the reason? thank you so much
How do you enable the feature?
It's available only if you have paid for Microsoft 365, otherwise you will miss this along other features
@@horrorcoder I pay for Microsoft 365 and I don't have the feature...
@@fermunoz8884 same here! I pay for 365 for business and do not have the text to ink pen feature
How can I add this A text pen on surface pro 9? one note
It should be there ,just make sure you've got the latest version of OneNote and you're not using the version from the App Store
@@AldoJames I have 365 for business sub. I downloaded the MS office 365 'apps' to my desktop from the admin centre but that ink to text pen feature does not show up.
Is it available in one note office 2016?
It's not, but OneNote is free so you could download the New OneNote without having to get the latest version of Office
Most of the comments are, how do we get this to be activated? Nobody has it
Requirements for this feature are below, so make sure you've got the latest version of Windows and it should be there.
A digital pen or stylus. The Ink to Text Pen does not support any other form of input.
Latest version of Windows 11 23H2
Additional language support will require Windows 11 October 31 update (KB5031455)
This may just make me change from Nebo. I'll see if it can convert a chemical equation to text. Nebo has a problem with Chemical equations as it thinks its a mathematical equation.
@@AldoJames Onenote is always fantastic for note taking and on line researching. Maths equations support has always been great for MS products but I'm just starting in use them in Onenote. So far they seem good. No much with chemistry equations at the moment.
Just downloaded the latest version, there is no A pen.
How do I enable it?
Same problem with me yesterday it was there but now it disappeared
only if you went into how to enable it.. i don't have text pen option and it says its up to date..
I'm in the same boat
