    wow I absolutely love this!! My school band played this a couple years ago, and my director actually knew maslanka before he passed away; cool guy with AMAZING musical ability

    I subscribe to both the U Mich and UT band channels. I can’t decide which is the more outstanding ensemble. This is absolutely amazing!

    I love the timpanist's technique! This past weekend I was the timpanist for this piece, and I noticed that the most difficult passage in my part is different from hers. I suspect UMich played a newer arrangement from the original that has a more playable timpani part. True?
