Dude watercolor - SO underrated for map coloring. I use it exclusively for color cause it just dominates. And the more you use it, the more you learn what it can do. Great concept here!

I absolutely love that they used a battle map style and I wanted to try it with one of my past maps. I’m doing it digitally, and the map is huge so I’m going by areas, but it might still take a few months to finish 😅

I recently “discovered” your channel and have immediately become hooked.
The style of your artwork and process are wonderful, and so open to anyone just tuning in.
I’ve been drawing non-essential practice maps, but in a way that if they turn out beautifully, can be used in a game. Even the less than wonderful maps and characters are set aside for another go as I get better at this.
Also, on this particular video, I want to thank you for promoting the books to assist funding trans rights in Texas. I’m an older trans woman and this is dear to my heart. 🙏🏼

My friend, allow me to be very honest with you. At the first time I saw your channel I was delighted with your way of explaining how to do things. Because of you I went back to designing my own dungeons and maps. I gave life to places that previously only existed in my imagination. I can never be grateful enough. I always thought you were a nice guy, but after today's video where you call transgender people in Texas for help I'm pretty sure that more than a nice guy, you're a more than decent human being. It's a pleasure to follow your videos.

The style is definitely on point but he colours need to be dark and grimy. The map should look more ancient and faded

The map looked a little bright to me in comparison to the Elden Ring map. That is not a bad thing though, as your map turned out amazing.
Did he say winser and newton watercolor was cheap?!?!?!? I got that same set it was 30$ and lasted me about 2 months
I got my for $25 and it's lasted me YEARS! Maybe I'm not using it enough!
