I had the chance to see them twice in festivals this summer. Such a great time, a lot of energy and you see that they are having fun on stage. Can't wait to hear new tracks.
I saw them live like 3 months ago and I found it super interesting that Serra plays with like 90% up-picks. (Also had no idea that she’s actually a sick bongo player too till I saw them live)
This was fun to watch! 😀 Thank you PG team and Los Bitchos! 😊👍 I've listened to some of their Music afterwards and liked it a lot, too! 😀 I was surprised by it mostly being instrumental, though; I would've guessed by hearing Josephine's distinct voice in the above video that she was also their lead singer! There may be some yet unknown potential there!? 🙂
@@premierguitar - I got my friends from the local community centre to play it from Shpottify™ during a 'Café' event the very next day, and it fit the whole vibe perfectly! 😁👍
I got here a bit late, it's kinda hard to say that having watched a 2 months ago live show, Petale's not evolved that much. Tone here is harsh. Wish you'd kept the KEXP 2020 sound, a lot cleaner. Josefine is a monster! Drums and bass is keeping that band alive
@@thesaj1110 - What’s funny exactly? Playing guitar by itself you go for a big sound. Live, and recording, it’s fairly thin. Listen to isolated tracks.
@@Burnt_Gerbil - I listened to some of their (live) Music after watching this video and was actually surprised their sound was way less agressive than I'd expected! 🙂
I just don't understand any smaller-scale touring musician who doesn't go with a digital all-in-one system (Fractal, Kemper, Helix, NQC, etc.) Especially when they aren't corksniffing gearheads talking about some ancient germanium blend mined from some magical mountain in Tibet. One unit, one monitor or IEMs. Two trip load-in maximum. Eliminate excess points of failure. Eliminate a million intangibles. Plus, a Fractal unit can run the guitar and bass through the same unit.
You must know so much more than 90% of touring musicians. It must be nice! Also, she tours with a small pedalboard and a single guitar: you really think that's excessive?
You are missing the whole point of indie rock...not being a polished player or worrying about such things...you didnt know that by now? It's only been around like for over 5 decades in various forms, from 60s garage rock to 70s punk, 80s hardcore, 90s alternative, etc etc, surely you have been confronted with this conundrum before many times. I do not care for such music myself either, but can understand what it is and isnt about, the concept is pretty easy to grasp.

Refreshing to watch a band present their gear in an accessible way, and with such joy.
You're right, she really is cute!
@@snicker576 He didn't say anything about her being cute. Maybe trying commenting about the actual content of the video like Neil?
@@xdoctorblindx Adorable! You are so very cute! Cute!
That's literally what Rig Rundown has done for years lol
Great to see Serra and Josefine run through their rigs and thanks for the shout out for Rotosound strings 🧡
Roto Blues = best strings ever!

Great interviews, they are very cool, a very talented fun band. Can't have a margarita without their music on!
Her band is amazing live. She gets everyone dancing and rocking out hard.
Because she iis verrrrryyyy cute
Love at first sight with this Bass player. Hard to ignore her fantastic bass lines. Has musical talent & integrity in abundance 💕❤️🙌🙌

The lack of pretencious gear-worship here is so refreshing!
Great watching this after seeing them live last night! They put on a killer show, hope to see them in the states more often

So much negative comments... her band is doing well, people enjoy, that's all that matters
ROTOSOUNDS..!!! Whoa..!! I forgot all about them… used to use them on my Tbird bass… might have to try em on my Tele…
Excellent interviewer. Very empathetic & great listener.
Love them! ❤
good interview, well done.
cool, great Watching
Love this band❤️ Ignore the haters. Mostly sexually repressed, sad little man children.
They need a few stacks of Marshall amps. Just an opinion😄
That was fun!
Serra Petale's tone is something else!!
Hahaha it's awful hahaha it gets better once the whole band is playing, but let's agree ghe best tone was KEXP 2020 when Caro was the rythm player
I like this.
Love this band. Come to Nz!
I second that! Play at San Fran in Wellington, ladies! 😀👍
Doesn’t Jo’ look just
like Tina Weymouth?!
No. She is her own person. No comparison required.

Our pleasure! Let The Festivities Begin! is a banger and should be enjoyed by all - especially at a party!

I thought Los Bitchos’ had two guitarists? Did I miss something? 🎸🇺🇸
The second guitarist, Carolina left last year.

Been digging Los Bitchos for a few months, now. How about doing Beabadoobee?
A JAZZ BASS!!!!!!!!!!
I like turtles.
Small clone slaps, you can get a nice soft chorus or a rotary speaker on Crack
My Ears!!!
With the drums and bass, it won’t be as harsh. It will fit better. They are doing it correctly.

still prefer my Doom Metal Sounds
The bassist didn't even know she had noiseless pickups... Interesting
She knew that they sounded good, though! Isn't sound what matters the most, too? 🙂
Amazing bassist. One of the best. So humble & natural. Great to see she doesn’t even know just how brilliant she is.
She’s cool but hate to say, needs some more practice time…
But I work in a cubicle all day so who the hell am I to criticize…
Great comment! 😊 Her playing sounded wayyy cleaner in the live clips I watched afterwards, though! 🙂
Wtf is that tone?
sounds awful
How dare someone not have shitty 80s metal tone!!!
@@morganghetti or blueslawyer tone!
