Its still awesome that the guy is per cannon bigger than some primarchs were.
Nope that's pure fan fiction based on a misunderstanding of him wearing modified tactical dreadnought armour ie terminator armour, not actual dreadnought armour and some fan art depicting him that big.
In reality within the lore he couldn't be bigger than 8 or 9 feet tall at a push.
@@stevoc9930 the image of him towering over the mantis warrior from the background was official artwork. At least according to white dwarf. The guys at least bigger than Alpharius.
@mikewaterfield3599 That art is fan art and in no way official. There is little or no official fan art of Tyberos.
Alpharius was about 8 foot tall, the smallest of the primarchs and said to be able to pass for one of his sons.
Tyberos is 8-9 feet tall max. An Astartes can't be bigger than that. Gene seed implementation makes you taller. So if a man would naturally be around 6 foot it makes you 7 foot tall. Some very few marines who would have naturally been 7+ feet tall can be 8-9 feet. No bigger than that.
Is there any books to read with tyberos
The Badab War series was pretty good, but he’s not the main character.
The Carcharodons have their own titular book series, but it’s centered on a chaplain and the DEldar

My favorite piece of Lore is that when rival space marines first met Tyberos, they mistook him for a statue, due to his size.
If he’s a son of Corax he can probably make himself actually look like a statue. They’re sneaky.

It was a tech priest that mistook him for a statue because he was a foot taller than his brothers and completely motionless.
Considering First Born can get taller when they cross the Rubicon...imagine if Tyberos crosses to Primaris.
Tyberos needs an armor upgrade from the Salamanders Chapter.

For real. It’s made up by the fans. Terminator armor is able to be sized down for normal humans, let alone dwarfs, and sized up for Custodes and even primarchs. Absolutely zero reason it can’t be sized for an above average height space marine.
The only unique thing about his armor is the weapons it’s equipped with.

Yeah…… in my head cannon they are descendants of Sevatar. They are much less stealth and much more fear. Besides the novel “Red Harvest” supports the idea. The ones Corax exiled were the ones who turned on him.

Tyberos is said to be one of the biggest Non Primaris Astartes standing between 8-9 feet tall in his modified Terminator armour.
I’m pretty sure he’s likely in the 9-10 foot range since it’s said that he makes his terminator armor wearing bodyguards looks like children

@logan.-.2125 There was a piece in a novel that said he was a head taller than his terminator honour guard. But what a head means and how tall his honour guard were is anyone's guess.
First born marine are around 7ft. First born in Terminator armour 7-8ft. So a head taller would put Tyberos domewhere at 8-9 feet. There's been nothing in the lore or official from GW to say he's abnormally large. No Space Marine in the lore has ever been as tall as the medium to larger Primarchs.

You could find another universe where all the factions, even the derpy ones are covered equally by youtube lore channels.

I've been in this hobby since 3rd edition and a lot of fans, especially older ones, agree that the space marine jerkoff fest that it's become (yes it always was to an extent but they have really doubled down over the years) Is just a waste of potential from other interesting factions and hurts the whole hobby/setting. This isn't some edgy opinion you'd be surprised actually how many people feel it a bit
And it's also short-sighted and even cynical, because (as you just proved yourself) they are basically pigeonholing their own setting by basically saying if you're not into these guys and find them infinitely interesting, then this pretty much isn't for you... When it should be more like pick your team/faction, whichever one you vibe with we've got you. But they have neglected the others so much that they are basically now stuck with just space marines because they haven't built or promoted any interest with the others and now most are too far behind
It also lowers the quality and the years of good worldbuilding of the setting when ragnar blackmane can beat ghazghkull, or marneus calgar can beat an avatar of khaine, or bjorn beats magnus etc...
I honestly think moments like those are so silly they do no one any favours not even the most die hard space marine fanboys because it just turns it into Saturday morning cartoons for kids. Which maybe it is tbf haha
And also, the funny thing is, I do like space marines (die hard blood angel fanboy), they are really cool... But they are not the only cool thing and by putting 95% of the spotlight on them and giving them such blatant bias, it just makes them less cool and harder to like imo.

They Carcharodons do take much inspiration from the Maori people, yes.

I don't expect anyone to see this. But there are many guardsmen regiments for you to cover as well. My suggestion is to try to the noble and highborn regiments: the Scintillan Fusiliers, the Indigan Praefects, the Ventrillian Nobles, the Mordian Iron Guard. The list goes on.

Even the weakest Primarch is turning him inside out in seconds. He's probably dead before he even knows what happened fighting Alpharius.

Some say he's a Thunder Warrior from ancient Terra. That would explain his name, size, his artifact weapons, and his deformed face. There is precedent for Thunder warriors within the space marines.
Thunder Warriors died off thousands of years before the current setting unless they did a huge retcon of the lore bro, they were all dying because their bodies were rejecting their own purposely designed to fail organs that the Emperor and his buddies cooked up in a lab. Not to mention they got bodied by the Custodes on Ararat, then the ones that got away died in hiding by exploding, or having cancer in every part of their body, while also going completely insane. Then Constantine Valdor killed their commander pretty easily, lol.
as cool as it would be all of the thunder warriors were sickly cancer ridden crazy motherfuckers. he simply wouldn’t be alive if that was the case, cool theory tho!
@robertemerson1087 Some thunder warriors have certainly survived up until the Horace heresy and the siege of Terra. Afterwards, their sightings aren't recorded as much, all except one fully intact thunderwarrior found in trazyns museum.
@@ghosthippie8465 Wasn’t Unification to Heresy only a couple hundred years? Even with their ailments I’m sure a few managed to make it to around the Heresy, I don’t think the actual years are mentioned. And that thunder warrior is probably in a stasis field.
