From a manufacturing perspective, you would want to have a constant radius. The radius on a ball nose mill is constant. You can use smaller, but it's more work. If we are talking about injection molding, than using chordal is a nightmare because it doesn't offset as well and you get uneven wall thickness. It looks good but you can have problems with manufacturing it. Cool video !
