Camera angle is dreadful so kudos if you can get through this! New mount and watched the footage back, could have cried 😅 It's forecast rain for the next few weeks and I wasn't subjecting you to ANOTHER rainy vlog 😂

I always get a kick out of your commentary and the unusual camera angle actually worked well on the twisty road segment since, coupled with the beautiful engine soundtrack, it emphasized the sensation of actually riding along, focused on the upcoming turns. The new bike looks and sounds great and I am certain you just pre-sold a ton of them.

No joke! These guys approached her and basically talked to her like she was a helpless girl just because she's a woman on a fast motorcycle that they themselves probably can't even ride. She's LITERALLY riding a bike that's not supposed to hit the streets until the next day and if these guys really rode they would of taken the opportunity to check out a brand new exclusive bike instead of trying to be a superheroes.

Whats all this issue about handlebar vibrations. Feel like its the only con! People are selling there s1000r’s because of this issue… is it that bad? I was going to buy the 2023 model this week. But decided to wait! I dont want to spend so much money! And «fix» the problem with bar enda for 150 dollar more🤦🏻 it should come fixed in the price!!

I traded that in for a 2015 S1000R, which for me was absolutely perfect for everything! It just fitted me! I found it handled, was light, braked beautifully, & I loved it! I did several track days here in Australia at Phillip Island & I only “lost” out to the RR on the straight! This is an absolute torque meister!Anyway I just traded the S1000R last November on a R18. Time to savour the fact I still have a license after many years of um...vigorous riding!😈💪🏼🚀🤣🤭 Nice review Kate. 👏🏼🍻🇦🇺

It was not too bad Kate. Liked the view better when it was angled up looking at where you were going than looking at the bar and dash all the time. We know what the bike is like from your squeaks of excitement and enthusiasm. Bike would not be for me though as I like a bit of wind protection. I would go for the XR. 😊😘

So like the unbelievably nice person I am I held up the traffic and jumped out to help him pick it up. It was on the A49 just past the Fox&Barrel, should he watch your video and read this message? Nice bike Kate.👍By the way the A49 just off the M56/JC10 is a bikers paradise. Nice cafe where all bikers park up for a cup of tea and a chat!!!

I've been told my bike is a beast and its only a Yamaha YZF 600 Thundercat and i'm over 40, 6'1", 242 pounds and shaved head and full beard... So... Maybe he was just being nice... Maybe he was being an arse... We'll never know...

Sorry Kate your BMW bias has got you this time. The front end looks way too heavy and Suzuki like. The older model is way better looking and that's saying something.
The designers have missed a trick here big time. They could of made a real looker, but no they fucked up.
That road you're on at around the 20min mark looks great fun.
Or I could just like it 🤣 I've always said I'd prefer an rr front end with flat bars but I do like this. It's all subjective lol

How's the turning circle. The previous model wasn't so good, you had to do 10 point turn's in tight spaces.

S1000R holds a special place in my heart as my first ever 1000cc bike back in 2014 and my first BMW. I really loved that bike in bright red. I'm not taken with the looks of the new one so much it's trying to fit in while the previous-gen wanted to stand out, good or bad.

Cheers for the upload; as an aside, regarding the guys telling you to be careful - I've had plenty of guys tell me to be careful on my Triumph, and I'm a man. Some people are just worried for anyone on a motorcycle - I try to take it as genuine concern. I don't think my wife (who also rides) has heard that phrase any more or any less than I have.

Good vid... interesting, I am always a little uncertain about higher seated bikes where i have to spend too much time riding Flamingo at each stop, but this seems very managable.
Dealers in the UK don't have fuel, petrol, onsite? Mine in the US does. As a courtesy, after scheduled maintenance appointments they top me off.
Nope! Some UK dealers even charge for the test ride never mind the fuel! ⛽️

Whats up with the dash around 24 minutes?
2 display settings on the dash. The sporty display with the speed at the top (taped over so editing is easier incase I go over) but then 24 mins is the standard display so the tape only covers the top of the numbers. Good for when town riding so I can see im not taking the mick 👍

Lovely bike Kate was not expecting to see the TFT display or the wonder wheel on a bike like this, but makes total sense. Also I have had my BMW Urban G/S X delivered a few days ago, would have brought it from you but its a bit of a journey for me. £7750 for a 2017 in mint condition at 6K miles with Wunderlich extras, pretty cracking deal off a old retired guy, catch you soon thanks for your review it convinced me to go for it

Cracking looking bike and a good mixed test ride out. Did have a sore neck hunched down watching it though…….bring on 360VR and we can personally adjust the angle :-)
