I always imagined that if they did a 3rd Revelations game, they should have Billy as a character in the game. Most likely on the run for the alleged war crimes he was responsible for, having several aliases and possibly even having surgery done on his face at some point. Could even make it an interesting surprise for both us and Rebecca.
I think it would be awesome if it turned out Billy had gotten a new identity and is a member of the houndwolf squad that Chris leads, and Chris not having a clue who he actually is.
If anything with Billy I would like to see him in an Outbreak scenario and a side story leading to or occurring at the same time as RE5. Billy being a convict on the run with no cash and a tainted name I can imagine him picking himself up around Raccoon city and the outbreak occur. Whether he live or dies depend on the player. Billy in RE5 could be him coming to terms with his past by returning to an unknown part of Africa, but Wesker’s las plagas occurred.
If they bring Billy back I would like it if he was reunited with Rebecca, think about it, it’s been forever since those two have seen each other, it would be nice for them to catch up after all the time thats passed to see how they have evolved ever since the incident in the Arklay Mountains
Why would it be weird... It was a one off character. Rebecca lied and said he died. They faked his death. He can't just show back up because even if he did he would be a wanted man.
Howabout a game where Billy gets captured by Umbrella shortly after the end of Zero? He then spends the whole game attempting to escape, only to be captured again and turned into Nemesis.
All the side characters need to. Billy, Carlos from 3, Sava from 5, even Berry we haven't seen him in forever. Hell have a game where you just play them and what they are up to
He was in revelations 2. There are other characters who have been missing longer. Plus barry is old as shit now if we're going by the timeline, he would be in his mid to late 60's
Remaking Re 0 will be a good reason to reintroduce Rebecca and Billy into the series with new audiences and will be a good start to making them more relevant in future projects!
I think if they do bring him back, he needs to be involved in a game in the raccoon city forest with the hospital with the report or trying to find out what’s happening though teaming up with and she returns the favor and helping him get out of raccoon city
None. He should die at the end of zero, it would set rebecca up with a great character arc for the remake of RE1 giving her the determination of survive rather than being completely useless and close up that plot hole one and for all. It would also give Billy a hero's ending
Woudnt it made more sense if Capcom had used Billy as protagonist in RE 7 🤔 After years of laying low, staying out of sight from the law, in the South or Midwest U.S. (after the RE 0 incident) and now having a girlfriend, Billy ends up looking for her in Louisiana ... i mean they coud have squeezed him back in the RE universe 🤔🙃
As awesome as that sounds, it wouldn’t have worked for a couple of reasons. If it was Billy’s girlfriend in Mia’s role as the caretaker of Eveline, she would have to be a scientist within The Connections and a head figure in developing Eveline. Many members in The Connections are former Umbrella and at least one of them would’ve instantly recognized that one of the lead scientists working on Eveline happens to be dating someone who was at the top of Umbrella’s most wanted. Someone Umbrella was hunting down relentlessly while they were still around. Billy would be killed before Eveline was even finished. The big reason though is because RE7 was a “soft reboot” that was trying to bring back the horror into Resident Evil and save the franchise from the massive decline that has been going on since RE5. It needed to feel disconnected from everything that came before until the big reveals that come later. Reading about the Raccoon City incident and the big shock of Chris Redfield showing up at the end and getting Ethan out of there and even saved Mia when it seemed so certain that she was dead. Billy also would’ve been turned into a molded monster instead of gaining the mold powers that Ethan does
They should make a game with Billy AND Carlos. No BS antiBOW organization or whatever crap capcom has come in past years, just a pair of random guys in the middle of the chaos by random chance.
Billy should meet Carlos around 2002 during Operation Javier when Leon and Krauser were there. Krauser learns about Billy’s history and decides to descend into darkness similar to Big Boss in MGS and Darth Vader and sees that he cannot trust the government after what they did to Billy and decides to go rogue. Billy would also use his skills from the military and try to keep evading governments and Umbrella and Carlos tries to team up with him.
I’m pretty sure that he’s the one who is turned into The Nemesis. I remember reading somewhere that Umbrella recaptured him shortly after RE0 and used him as the subject for the Nemesis project. I could be wrong, but it does make a lot of sense

Remake Resident Evil 0 and have part of the ending be him being arrested again. Then when you remake Code Veronica you could have that be the place he was taken to. Easy.
Maybe they should have him join chris's outfit. Chris seems like he wouldn't mind having an experienced ex marine in his group. I think chris would understand that billy was put in a situation out of his control due to him being forced by his commander to commit the acts he did in that village.
Technically if you count side games and extra modes too we played as "bad guys " . Nikolai , Carlos,Hunk Wolfpack, bows etc. Billy was Marine force Recon and pretty much no diff RE 0. He needs to come back working with the government and Leon for D.S.O . Most RE fans don't remember they got more jurisdiction than BSAA. They way he can be in the main cast and have a pardon. Reason government wanted anyone with bow experience after Raccoon City. Reunion with Rebecca and main cast would be nice.
Capcom should make Revelations zero and have Billy Coen as the main character and have him as one of the playable characters in RE9 and have the death island protagonists meet him. I think he should have been in Death Island since it took place in Alcatraz.

I still think Billy is HUNK because it's weird that the vehicle that he was in taking back roads was closed by the Umbrella facilities instead of taking main roads, then you see he shows no fear dealing with BOWs but I know he is part of the Marines which is weird because you have other military characters panicking during their first zombie encounter, and the biggest clue is how he knows about James Marcus's death 10 years before which the only ones knows about his death was Spencer, Wesker, Birkin, and HUNK since his death was a secret. So how did Billy knows about James Marcus without being there during his death and I noticed most miss that clue during the cut scene when they stand in front of James Marcus's portrait?
As much as I love Billy as a character, I don't think we'll see a DLC or remake of RE0 - it wasn't received well, and I fear the team would unsure of bringing Billy back, as much as we fans would love it - but RE0 is so diversive amongst fans, I doubt we'll see anything related to it/Billy, which is a shame :(
Billy is Leon Kennedy. After resident evil 0, Rebecca fixed him up with a new face and identity. It would explain why Leon didn't just leave!! he had to stick to the false identity determined to be free was to protect the new identity of Leon Kennedy 🤔
It's a shame the timing's off or he could've turned out to be HUNK. 2 months is a bit tight to infiltrate umbrella and become a member of their special forces.
There is clues that he is HUNK because the way he handles BOWs, then his location was closed by Umbrella facilities, and how he knows James Marcus's death from 10 years before the RE0 events which only a handful knows about his secret death.
Honestly, there is no reason to bring him back. All other main characters in the series have something to do with taking out Umbrella and BOWs or characters personally related (whether family or professionally) to these members. Billy was just a bystander who just happened to be near the train when this incident happened. He has no dog in the fight nor any reason to come back. There is no reason story nor lore wise for him to come back and any future incidents would be just pure coincide of wrong place and wrong time.

True! That's another huge point. He's definitely a character i'm the most curious about, kinda weird how we don't have at least a document of him.

Resident evil was not liked. Its been over 20 years since it came out. Billy is gone its not gonna happen. Let it go.
