+August Lily Trust me. I have seen them live three times now including two days ago and they are beyond awesome. One of the best bands in the world no question.
I love them for not changing like the record company wanted. They took a break and came back and said F U and kept their style. Btw the reason alt rock died was because those record companies decided to kill it. I remember just being a kid and noticing my favorite style of music just going away almost over night bands like my chhemical romance and fall out boy started taking over, Sum41 and good charlotte sold out and changed, blink 182 was gone Green Day actually evolved they were the lucky ones but everyone else either fell or sold out and music really has never been the same since 2005, Shirley nailed that 100%. Right now we’re at an all time low in music with pop and cheesy “rap” and it’s nice to see some of the old bands like Garbage still around doing what they want. Sadly we’ll never have any new bands quite like it, they’re all buried underground because the mainstream is for little poppy snowflakes now
I wonder why she uses more of her accent during her singing live instead of what she sounds like on the albums?? She has a nice accent but it sounds kinda weird her singing that way. Is her albums altered in the studio or something to sound more American?
Can't wait to see them live two weeks today, their music is incredible \o/
