Hello! Thank you for asking. These particular trains are fairly old and were purchased used. One of them I bought on EBay and the other one in local thrift store. If you like these, I’m sure you will be able to find some on EBay as well. Good luck!
@@diynation6074 I already own two locomotives like the ones shown. However, my locomotives are not Christmas versions. I do a little research into the history behind the models. From the Scientific/Eztec I own the “Silvernite” and the “Pennsylvania” and the Echo Toys locomotive I have them twice in red/silver. I'm interested in when the individual locomotives were built and was therefore wondering whether their sets might currently be available in stores. But if you bought them used, then they are probably older and no longer manufactured. If you find a reference to the year of manufacture on the packaging, please let me know. Greetings from Germany
Hello to Germany. That’s wonderful! Thank you for sharing your experience and your interest in these beautiful toys. I will be more than happy to look up the details of my trains and share them with you. I’m not close by at the moment, but will reply back with the information as soon as I can.
@@diynation6074 That would be great! I would also like to show a video with my locomotives, but unfortunatley I don't have time at the moment and a few repairs on some engines need to be made first.
That would be great. I subscribed to your channel and I’m looking forward to see your locomotives when you get to it. I looked up some details about mine trains, but unfortunately it doesn’t have much information on them. The one with white boiler is probably quite older. It is called Musical Christmas Train and was distributed by JC Penney Home Collection. The other one with red boiler is from Eztec and it says 2015 year on the box.
Your echo toys Christmas train is missing a drive rod on the left side.
Thanks for pointing it out. I’m aware of it. That locomotive is pretty old and it was starting to come off, so I had to remove it.
Hallo, sind diese Sets aktuell im Handel oder gebraucht gekauft?
