few things to note:
1- you should always prioritize developing your pieces (getting them in a position where they "watch over" an large chunk of space)
2- develop your queen last (unless a good move would be to develop them immediately)
3- castle as soon as possible if you're able to and it isn't risky to do so
4- don't be afraid to sacrifice pieces like the queen if it means you'll get a advantage
5- PRACTICE DAILY.
