    1:32 @ 1/4 speed is helpful. Thanks for putting it together, this tutorial is awesome.

    Great tutorial! I love the names you've been giving tricks that no one else has. We just had a little debate on a new trick in the facebook group that was similar to a Houdini roll. Naming things helps us all learn faster and more consistently IMO.

      I was referencing the half cab. Trust me, I know you created the bead roll! You're one of the best around :D

    Halfcab is an excellent choice in terminology!

    I have been working on the beadrolls for about a day now. Sometimes I can get them decently, other times I drop my beads on the first move.

    Halfcabs can be made from a non-fackie grip (or maybe you gave an other name for it). Different slingers often do two halfcabs from low grip to fackie mid grip to high grip in their combos. Great tutorial like every time by the way 😉

      Half cab is a trick name taken from skateboarding that MUST be done from fakie. That's why he called it a "half cab".

      Ok so we might chose a name (maybe there is a trick which is done from standar to fackie in skateboard?)

      That would just be a 180. And there isn't a name for the opposite because it isn't a trick. A half cab like in the video is a trick. Kinda like how a slip isn't technically a trick.

      But we named it to communicate more easily what we do to other slingers or beginners. If skateboard hasn't a trick name for this, maybe we could find a name from butterfly knifes tricks or pen spinning or even invent one. Personally I have no idea

    PS: Please make slow motions in your future videos, I knew this trick but if I didn't it would be difficult to see what you do.

      Yeah that's my mistake I meant to slow down the clip at the end. I uploaded it in slomo in a separate video.

    Great vid, thanks. but the actual hard part is keeping the pinki independent. How the hell do you do that !

    could you do that trick with bigger diameter bead (ex : 1") ?

    • @musclebones
      @musclebones  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yes it's doable with larger beads, albeit kind of annoying

    If budget isn't an option would you recommend Titans or Hydras?

      Wait a bit, aroundsquare's new everyman beads are coming!

      I prefer the weight and feel of hydras
