Hello from Romania! I bought 3 days ago, my first copperband fish. Yesterday, I made a box that opens in the middle, I made 6 small holes in it, 3 at the base and 3 in the front, I glued a magnet to the back and put red worms in it. After 15 minutes, he already ate the first worm that came out of it 😁
Farm is glowing! May be buying more soon, I need to fill a few spots with some fun colourful acros. First purchase was great, everything is thriving. I switched from all kalk to Bolus yesterday and the tank has exploded in 36h. It's insane how well this works.
Saw on tidal gardens with a gentleman who does this for a business, he say put the copper band into a black container so as to not spook him as well as getting him to see only the one piece of mysis shrimp, and he will evenually eat frozen.
Good question, I don't really dose anything anymore. Lately I've added some trace elements a few times as they were bottoming out, but that's about it. I use kalkwasser and 3 part.
awesome stuff. An that fish blowing bubbles is most definitely something special, just watching him made my day😁😁

I unfortunately went through 4 copperband to finally get one that eats voraciously
