In 1991 I trekked the Alaskan wilderness around Mt Blackburn. I based out of a cabin owned by Old Bill, he lived there year round. His land rover and snow mobile got him to Chitina when he needed something. I explored endlessly for a few weeks. The wilderness can eat you alive if your not careful.

The "Golden Orb" is a very nice example of just how little people know about the creatures that are living in the depths of the sea.... How many creatures remain that have never been observed by the scientists and explorers...Too many to count....🤔

Fairbanks AK is literally middle of Alaska. No one is supposed to live there. Winter temps average -15. Most clowns get lost in the ranges and freeze to death. It’s a lot of space to cover.
We enjoyed our time in Fairbanks. Went to the dance house follies and the ballad of Sam MCGee. Alaska is very beautiful, the mountain ranges are amazing. My family and I very much enjoyed our holiday in Alaska. ❤❤❤
Lived in Fairbanks for 52 years and love the place. It's not for the weak or stupid Mother Nature gets them quickly.

Good grief! I live in Alaska and find what the world thinks of us fun. However, ask about pronunciation!!! Tanana (Tan-ah-naw), Yupic (You-pick), and Denali (Den-all-E). Feel free to reach out if you need help. It hurts my ears.
Not just Alaska the pronunciations are butched and this content creator is better than most. A lot of content creators butcher historic sites and famous names on a regular basis. I want to scream at them when they mess up commonly known names.
I was stationed there years ago. It shouldn't bother me but it does.
I find it strange when there are pronunciation helps on line. 🙄 but then the content creators also constantly reuse the same tired and exaggerated vocabulary.
