The city banned Priest after that show claiming it was so loud that it caused structural damage to Colosseum. I thought Somewhere tour was better IMO from Maiden. The best sounding show goes to Queensrÿche take your pick Mindcrime or Empire doesn't matter they we near flawless on both.

Holy shit. I wish so badly I had grown up during this era, I was born in '88. This concert looked like an absolute blast, I've watched this concert and so many other 80s metal concerts on TH-cam over the years. What a fun time, I'm so jealous, this is back when society was freakin NORMAL and fun-loving and easy-going.. lots of hot girls in attendance headbanging too! And no fat people, everyone is trim and good-looking and full of energy.. no cell phones, no hyper-sensitivity, no blue-haired weirdos, no bullshit! Simpler times. The 80s feels like it was one of the last fun decades before America went to shit, like it was pretty much the last hurrah before the party went out with a bang.

They even made enemies in governements, like in USA (PMRC). Many of the 90's and latter called "heavy metal" bands, had more help of the music industry, were played in the radios, and most of their hits, and even line ups, were/are created by people beyond desks and not by the bands thereselfs. Must of them weren't\aren't even "heavy metal" but are called as heavy metal because that term help to sell. I don't know who old you are, but being a rock fan wasn't always as normal as today or in the 90's. In the 80's people look at us as if we were all a bunch junkies, devil workshippers, and sexual perverts. And rock music represented our rage and frustrations. Rock music were trully rebellious. Most of the post 90's rock music just doesn't have that rebellion.

I swear when that tour came to Atlanta Georgia, Rob came out on stage popping a wheely. Then came back across stage cutting a 🍩 donut. Leapt off the motorcycle 🏍️ the instant his feet touched the stage the band broke into that song and Rob started spitting out the lyrics. The timing of that sequence was mind blowing and the crowd went wild !
