You can tell all the members, past and present, are full of talent. It's not easy to adapt to member changes yet these girls are singing a song meant for 8 as a quartet and doing it beautifully. I wish S. Korea didn't sleep on them, Dolls is one of my fav Kpop songs ever!

it wasn't meant for 8 members, it was song by 8 members. Any song can be sang by how many members. it was just that it's released and sang by 8 members and you got used hearing to it by 8 members. However, I am agreeing that these girls are top-notch talent.

Stefan Diamandis-Herbinko if theyre fine with it then ok but it just seems silly coming from a newfan standpoint since i didnt know much about this group when they actually had 9 members. I just think if the name was originally based on how many members in the group, it makes sense to chsnge the number or remove it (similar to how the Jackson 5 changed to the Jacksons after Mike left)

One thing I can't understand about that group is why so many members left (some soon after their debut). I really think that they could benefit from the addition of, at least, two more members. They already produced many great songs... I really want to see them shining for a few more years. :'(
:C the first 2 didn't left, they were fired (Jaekyung and Bini) but Eunji, Sera, Lee Sam, Erin, Hyuna and Minha did, and Sungah is on "hiatus" but she's not coming back.
alot of them left bc they were treated badly, star empire is notoriously bad, they've gotten better over the years but we only tolerate them bc the consistent bops cross groups tbh
also they never really got recognition so for some members being in the group felt like a waste i think

If anything, it could be that the company was so willing to comfortably let them leave that they did. I can't even imagine how many people in groups want to leave but can't because of their company.
And adding 2 more members is something the members themselves said they didn't want to do. They're comfortable now. If they wanted 2 more members I'm sure the company would do so.
