For reference: I remove these front ends nearly every day. 1) Remove the wheel arch flares as this person has done. Undo the screws and clips underneath, and begin removal from the DOOR or REARWARD end- because the front has two pegs at 90º to each other, making front first removal impossible. Remove the two black screws indicated in the video, the grey ones retain the quarter panels to the bar cover, and may be dealt with later if necessary. Now you can pop the lower corners of the quarter panels, and the rear corners of the bar cover outward from the body of the car a small amount. 2) Do not rip the top black panel away like he did- simply remove all 12 retainers and fold back over the engine. This way you don't have to replace the rubber onto the clips later. The cover clips under the top of the grill, and requires wriggling to dislodge. ) DO NOT remove the four 6mm bolts on top of the grill until LAST! 4) Unscrew the camera instead of trying to unplug it- the plug is NOTORIOUSLY HARD, and easily damaged. Also, the two camera retaining screws are slightly different to all of the others. 3) NEVER pull the quarter infill panels outward- this is a certain way to rip the panel in half from the top!! Instead, pull the panel slightly downwards to access the clips under the headlight- and use a PLASTIC TRIM REMOVAL TOOL, not a metal screwdriver!! This is a part of the car's finish, (painted surfaces) and should be protected in a professional manner. 4) Proceed to remove the eight 10mm-headed bolts from underneath the front of the car- CAUTION: the outer two nearest the wheel arches are plastic, and easily damaged! 5) Reach in behind the LHS quarter panel (Passenger side in Australia, drivers side in most other countries), below the headlight and undo the wiring harness junction block by folding the retainer lever back towards the middle of the car. Pull plug to separate. 6) NOW, and only now, remove the four 6mm bolts on top of the grill, holding the front end in place with your body. Lay down tools, and grasp the front end by the middle bars of the grill, and proceed to pull away from the vehicle. IF it does not come away cleanly, replace at least TWO of the bolts on top of the grill, and investigate the problem. Once released; lay the entire assembly face down onto a prepared blanket for whatever work needs to be done. This is the standard procedure I follow at savagetech.com.au/, where I work as Head Fitter. Thank you, and treat your Cannon kindly, if you expect it to do the same to you.
Thanks for adding this info is so helpful when someone take time and do this kind of tutorial. I've been in the industry for more than 30 years and I still learning.
By memory, you need to take the head light off, also remove the gurd liner and you'll find a 10mm bolt in the middle of the gurd, the section adjacent to the door.

Hi there. How do you get the fender off? I removed all the screws and its still stuck, don't want to break any clips

Hi mate,
Is there any risk of airbag deployment when the bumper bar is removed? Do any sensors or the battery need to be disconnected first?
Not at all. it's very safe. The camera, parking sensors and fog lights are the the only things connected to the bar
