I never even considered using them for navigating to objects of interest. Because they have a compass and inclinometer it makes perfect sense. LOL I was so focused on using them to engage targets. Mine shipped today, long time coming these were...
Awesome video. Thank you . Could you describe how it works on small size targets like birds on the ground within 1000 meters ? It's much harder to measure a bird on the ground than on a tree. The best way to understand the rangefinder's capabilities is to measure a bird sitting on wires at a distance of 500-1000 m.
Brutal, showed up on Friday and they’re broken. Right out of the box in a dead level mount they measure +9 degrees inclination. Slide them out and stick in my Terrapin-X and boom 0 degrees. Tip the Vector X towards the ground until they read 0 degrees, swap in the Terrapin-X and it reads -9 degress…I rest my case. If you waited 6-7 months and let someone sit on $3000 of your hard earned money check, check, check again to make sure they’re working right. Other than being hopelessly broken and the EHR not working correctly they seem really cool and the HUD is amazing.
@@UtahAirguns nah was just peeping your video. I got them MHSA who are saying that it's really for Safran Vectronix to handle. I was kinda taken aback and explained if I lived in Colorado and bought these over the counter you can bet your ass I'd have been in there this morning returning them. I don't wanna play the whole send em to Europe and back again game, I had them literally one day. We shall see, I told Safran please just send replacements to MHSA and that way we can just do a straight across swap. That's who knows availability wise, I waited probably 6+ months for these with $3100+ tied up in a pre-order hrmmm. Praying for the best LOL, thanks!
PS - Not to bash MHSA they said they'll reach out to Vectronix as well. They seemed, "new" to the idea that Safran customer service has classically been shite.
This isn't resolved but I will say Vectronix is being quite responsive so far bucking the reputation. They're offering a call tag to return the unit and they're going to directly dispatch a replacement from the next production output in ~2 weeks time.
Great glass, great HUD, funky focus, stiff laze button. Mine and others are not lazing anywhere close to 7000 yds (w/tripod and LRM). While that is an impractical distance, for the money and relative to other 1M laser units, I'm underwhelmed.
Hi, nice video. I assume you’re in the mountains in UT, a lot of color in trees there, absolutely beautiful area. I am sure those binoculars are worth every penny, but for a casual shooter like myself, little over kill. I had no idea they made optics with that much technology in them, if I was 20 years younger, I might invest. Thanks for all the beautiful scenery.
No this is in regards to one of the other products they have but same company . Very frustrating when you spend alot of money and over time the laser drifts in one of the units ( not this current one) but there was s essentially no way forwards to fix the issue . I have delt with their military grade stuff as well on the DOD side and same thing when it comes to repair . Hopefully they have worked out customer support that is different from SAFRAN ( main company that owns vectronix).
Useless review. Let's see you range where we're going to use, say a steel mini IPSC target for PRS style shooting, a deer, a coyote, etc for hunting purposes ? Let's see what your get for consistent reliable results at different distances. .
this was just a first look review. we have since hunted a lot with them and they performed flawlessly on mule deer. getting ranges at 2000+ yards. as far as small targets go the beam divergence and reticle are extremely accurate and gave me perfect ranges and data at a few PRS matches. at the time of this video we had only had them for less than 24 hours so anything more than a first look and initial impressions would have been a dishonest review. we will post another long term review when we have a considerable amount of time with them in multiple environments.
@UtahAirguns I'd like to see a comparison like Primal Rights did, side by side, which has been my experience too. The binoculars overall are OK, the rangefinder falls way short of claims. I'll try to get a video up compared to my friends Revic, which has a superior laser rangefinder for whatever reason.
Glad to hear that they're starting to ship! Woooooo

Those are really useful. Thanks, Sawyer.
Great review! Where in Utah is that? It is beautiful!!
Near Orem Utah!

Hey James we are sorry to hear that happened. Did you get them from us? If so give us a call and we would be happy to get this issue resolved for you.

7K yards that's very impressive! thanks for the review.
archery mode? like the sig 10k

How are they compared to sig 10k
these are much better in my opinion. although the gen 2 10Ks are a massive upgrade from the first generation
First😉
"First" is not a comment. Just so ya know.
How much are they
$2900.00 on there website
$2700 +/-
Rather get the Vortex for half that.
@bommert3816 the Vortexs aren't even close to comparable to these.
You said, “Rather get a Kia than a Lexus.”

Everything is great until you need warranty work , customer service has not been the greatest
