the one downside to this particular design is that the aesthetics of the blade it'self needs to be sacrificed to work properly by having the gear rail on the back of the blade
Hahaha i have the same opinion, just don't look at the back side of the blade and you will be fine . It is for killing not for looks :D . Great point btw

my main issue with this is how the huge groove in the blade means it has a chane to pull in anything that can catch on it, like liquid or blood or anything of the like. so practically it has a chance to jam more

I have been considering buying one or two of the hidden blades you make for a while since the craftsmanship is so good. Would it be possible to make an ambidextrous version of Connor's design with both sides sharpened and the blade able to rotate in either direction? I know it's not faithful and may not be mechanically viable, but if it can be made, functionality-wise, it would be great.

Have you ever thought about revisiting Arno's blade from Unity? Maybe a more metal version
Exactly evne it's not emtal first i would love his version of the phantom blade i have the rawice version the crossbow is nice but the blade is quite a pain in the ass to use it needs considerable force to pull and the pull is quite long it really tance your fingers to pull after 5 minutes it's painful...

great work as always but what bothers me personally is that the tip of the blade always sticks out a bit when the blade is retracted greetings from Germany
For that reason, when I have enough money, I'm planning to ask for a very special concept of hidden blade that is stealthy both in X-rays and daily life, looking very minimalistic with careful controls, which can turn into a death letter anytime lol. But I'm a conscious person who's not edgy enough to be playing games with guns, so I will use it for self defense only and deactivate + slide it on upper arm in places I'm not meant to use it. It'll be very cool... But I wish I had money..

Well, depending on which version; the blade part of the mechanism is made out of two separate pieces of metal, and collapses in itself.
This is great but if you tried to stab something that has sticky liquid inside wouldn’t it mess up the system until you get it out
That kinda goes for every hidden blade. Which is why the Assassins all understood that their hidden blades had to be maintained regularly.

Is this your most functional blade? I would be interested in purchasing one that was made from stainless steel that could actually be used to legitimately stab things and not break apart.

@@CHATER_BOX probably not, this blade seems specifically constructed to fit the device. Also the internal mechanism needs to be made of strong metal also otherwise it’ll just fall apart if you try to stab something with it.

Buyer beware; I bought one of his hidden blades a while ago for cosplay purposes and (with very light use) it broke almost immediately. He responded to my numerous emails but then eventually ghosted me. I lost $400. Unfortunately, I would not recommend.
