- Butler County Sheriff Michael Slupe confirmed to KDKA-TV that an armed municipal officer with Butler Township encountered shooter Thomas Crooks before he fired shots from a rooftop building outside the perimeter of former President Trump's rally. KDKA-TV's Jennifer Borrasso reports.
Sounds like the cops were trained in Uvalde TX.

The guy in the video is the Butler County Sheriff. The officer who was climbing onto the roof was Butler Township police. You apparently don't realize that city police and county sheriff are different entities. So it wasn't "his" chief or "his" officer .....and therefore not his place to question them.

Let me share something from my experience as a middle aged person. When they say something like: "lets wait for for the investigation" that means the information will never be provided.

I am nobody of any importance, but when I bought a house a drone inspected the roof for any damage to make sure I wasn’t taking a risk purchasing a modest 1370sqft home .The DOJ doesn’t have this technology to secure a former president and candidate with Secret service protection?

In fairness Crooks told that officer that he identified as invisible and further that there was coffee and donuts being given out across the field. No chance that that township officer could have done anything differently.
