They seem such nice genuine people, completely unaffected by the fact that they are now global stars. I am also intrigued by the Daisy bubbly girl- next- door/ girlfriend you would love to have type of person, and Marianne, deep, often introspective and vulnerable. What consummate and brilliant acting. And Paul too, able to transform himself into the insecure, nobody likes me Connell. I think that they may have said previously that there are bits of them both in their characters which they were able to draw from. Absolutely Incredible performances.
Only here to hear Daisy Edgar-Jones' accent. Her accent in Normal People is absolutely perfect. It never faulters, not once. Astonishing achievement. Amazing acting from the pair of them.

I also loved his favorite scene. The look on his face when he first sees her. It took him right back to that horrible Debs decision and he wasn't sure if she would outright reject him in that moment. I loved the conversation after, because she didn't reject him.

I stumbled upon Normal People and binge watched the whole thing in one sitting. Now I'm crushing on Daisy
