    Thank you for sharing your testimony. This helps me alot. I am in the point in my life trying to heal from all the pass traumas. I used to bottle everything up because i shouldn't show my feelings. I felt like i had to play someone who i wasn't which in reality i didn't get the chance to understand who i was really am. I had to grow up at a very young age and take on everything but when i asked for help i was a failure. So i exhausted my self doing everything and making everyone happy. I am married now and we both trying to figure out things dealing with pass trauma in the pass thats causing us that pain now. I know God is working in me right now, i feel him. Healing is hard but i know something good is about to happen.

    I've been there survived it. My home home life growing up was chaos. There were times when my mom and I didn't know if we would see the next sunrise because my dad was lost in his PTSD. Both my parents have passed. This has had lasting effects on my heart. I didn't have a chance in my teens and twenties to cry. I had to harden my heart to survive. Now I do shed tears over this now. I think about that girl, and I see how lonely and scared she was.
    Over the last few years, I feel like God has given me a new heart. I didn't realize this until recently. My daughter and I had to have a tire replaced. It started out as having to have a tire checked. This young guy got talking to me about being a single dad and having such a hard time financially. His family isn't much help. I don't know why, but it touched me. I remembered having to do this for myself.

      Oh my goodness! How I can relate. My dad also passed away about 7 years ago and I had a very similar experience of feeling hardened/ in survival mode that I too was unable to properly grieve. I didn’t mention that in the video. Praise God for your new heart. It’s the little moments and little things and I think it just shows us how Christ is truly living inside of us 🙌🏻♥️ much love to you sweet sister!

    Thank you for your godly video today Anna. This made me think of my daughter, who unfortunately, is at the place you were. She is unemotional, when she should be able to show empathy and have a caring demeanor. She doesn't cry, and it there is any emotion at all, it tends to be anger. I am glad that your new life in Christ has had such a positive influence and effect on you. I will pray that one day, my daughter will come to know Jesus as well, and feel the same. I appreciate your biblical content, and I look forward to your next video. God bless.

    I was just thinking about this this morning! Years ago I drew a picture of a heart encapsulated in an iceberg, it was an expression of how I felt inside that I wanted to make into a painting. My heart was cold and black for so long. I "didn't care" about anything.. Now years later, I cry at the slightest heart pain.. its uncomfortable feeling vulnerable. But I feel human again, and I feel like a woman again, through my deep emotion. And how grateful am I to have things in my life that I love so much that they move me.

    How do YOU study the Bible? Im struggling. I can read it but i feel like i need guidance and structure. I feel overwhelmed like i dont know where to start and how to make it meaningful. Any advice? I could use some encouragement. Thanks ❤ You're a good homemaker.

      It’s amazing that you want to start. The Bible says that it’s God that draws us to Himself so the fact that you want to start is God pulling you in. I suggest start in the New Testament. My favorites at the moment are the book of John, Romans and Ephesians. Hope this helps 🤍

    • @AnnaDysett
      @AnnaDysett  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would start in the New Testament and just read a little each day. Even if it’s only a few verses. If you have something that you are confused about - search the verse on Got Questions. It’s a wonderful tool that has helped me so much. I also encourage you to just get a prayer journal. My husband got me this one for Christmas a.co/d/aXQOL7D
      I personally pray all day and do not write all my prayers down but the big ones I do so I can go back and see what God has done in my life.
      I am about to be discipled with a few other more mature women soon and we will be memorizing scripture and reading together weekly. If you can find a church that encourages discipleship - that is the BEST way to go to help keep you accountable.
      Know that the sanctification process is on going and you are not going to be perfect. Pray for wisdom and discernment ♥️ I hope this helps in some way.

      @@AnnaDysett ooh, I looked it up. It's pretty. I've never tried to journal. I pray all day too. I am alone most of the day and it just comes naturally. I was actually thinking of reading Proverbs, but I also like the new testament. Thank you for responding. I always wonder if God is pleased with me and I conclude that he's not. I'm not living in any sin I can think of. I just feel guilt constantly. Please pray for me. I see God as more of a judge than a loving Father tbh. I'm really hard on myself.

    I know some people personally who have an open marriage and call themselves Christian’s. What would you say is the best way, besides lots of prayer and love, to get to their hearts and help them see how their lifestyle is not biblical and is sin? How to help people deep in that sin see clearly? What would be your best advice for me, as the Christian observer, how to best deal with and respond to these people? Thank you

    • @AnnaDysett
      @AnnaDysett  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hmm.. do they actively go to church? Or do they just label themselves Christian?

      I have just started wearing dresses a lot at 49. I just want to feel more feminine. I am finding it’s a good way to stay cooler yet modest. I haven’t worn shorts in years. Working on getting back to a healthy weight and my light weight maxi dresses have been fitting the bill for all of these reasons.

    Hello, blessings to you! Is amazing how we repeat verses no knowing the meaning or the context of what was happening.
    You mentioned Ezequiel which was a profecy for the people of Israel to be exact the 10 tribes were dispersed because of their idolatry to other nations. The heavenly father made a promise that if they repent he will give them a heart of flesh meaning that he will put his commandments in their heart and mind for them to obey this goes in hand with Jeremiah 31:31 the father will do a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Juda… no mention gentiles so if we want to be part of the family of the father thru the messiah we need to enter in covenant what this means? We declare that we won’t have more idols and thru the blood of Jesus now his commandment are in us well to obey. What commandments? His feast, his diet, animals that we can eat and what we can not eat, biblical feasts no what man created. This is teshuva in Hebrew means going to back to the father.
    I pray that father give you understanding like he did to me I was in a religion system following doctrine of man. Please don’t let no one to tell you study on your own with the context and history at hand only like this you will discover the truth and the truth will make you free.
    Blessings from above 😊

      Hi! Thanks for much for watching. I was referring to Ezekiel* not Ezequiel. I am from the southern United States and try to control my accent.. but sometimes it slips. I’m feeling unsure about what exactly you are talking about here in the comment, but I do also pray the Lord continue to sanctify me and lead me to whatever is His will ♥️

      @@AnnaDysett Amen, but I didn’t mean your accent at all I think is beautiful. I am from Peru so my accent is not perfect at all ☺️🤗 but yes Pray to the heavenly Father that guide you in his truth thru his Holy Spirit wish is to live in santificación and the only way we live in purity and holiness is obeying his word. “ the messiah said…sanctified them in your word, your word is the truth. “ what truth? His word what word? His commandment because the Messiah is the Torah which is Hebrew is the instruction of the father the word of the father.
      Blessings.
