I’m running an Amber amethyst hades deck in local league play because it was cheap and I’m having a blast with him. I was wondering about a steel version of the deck as well, but I don’t feel like shelling out for grab your sword and whole new world so it’s a pipe dream for now.

Nice! Is it the rockstar stitch variation with 1 drop maleficent? How has it been working out for you?

​@@interlewd8115 I unfortunately do not have Rock Star Stitch, so it is just a low-to-the-ground aggro deck that tops out at 4 costs aside from Shift Facilier and Shift Hades. It’s a lot of fun, the deck has an insane amount of scrying between Yzma, Song Facilier, Cauldron, and Be Our Guest so you can churn through a large amount of cards pretty quickly to search for the floodborn characters. It does fold to steel’s damage-based removal and anti-aggro tools and is not a meta breaker by any stretch but it’s been fun and relatively consistent in my local meta so far. I’m really looking forward to amber Queen and a matching 1-drop (I assume) to help bolster the deck out some more. I’m currently running the mickey/broom package in the deck because I love the art, so that may be where the first swaps come.

I’m very impressed to see a Hades deck that ISN’T Amethyst! I’m hoping we’ll get more good villains in the other colors next set. Preferably ones that won’t mean having so many Uninkable cards in the deck.

@@zacharyjoy8724I would imagine there would have to be an Amber one so you aren’t forced into Amber amethyst only to play the new queen.

@@fallugaloog Plus, with Zero to Hero, summoning Big Hades just got a lot easier. My only question is, will there also be a smaller Queen for the new one to Shift from?

@@zacharyjoy8724 yeah I agree with Fallugaloog (never thought I’d say that sentence) there has to be a cheaper Queen somewhere in the set. Otherwise the shift feels like absolute garbage.

@@bigscrap84To be fair, it’s usually meant to be a finishing move, to remove the biggest threat your opponent controls. But yes, giving your opponent extra ink IS a double edged sword.
