Post production thoughts... After I make videos I often think "oh I should have done that"... so this is my "I should have done that" moment. If you want the letters to 'pop' a little more (after completing all the steps in this video) click on your text, then "edit", under "effects" click on "outline" and create a thin outline around your text.

You went really fast with this tutorial, but you have the clearest explanation that I have seen so far. Awesome job!!!

This is a really cool technique. I just created a design using a wolf. I did want to point out that when I tried to download just the image of the wolf, the download failed. I got a message saying that pro images cannot be downloaded without something else on the page. You have to use a free image. I thought that was strange. Also, I figured out that if you have any part of the image outside of the typecutout, you will lose that part of the image. In my case, I lost the wolf's ear. I had to resize the image over the typecutout so that within the area of the type, everything fell into the "zone". I will be checking out your other Canva videos. Canva is such a challenge to use and it's even worse now that they changed the interface. IMHO Thanks again.

Yes if you don’t change a pro image or add something to the page you wont be able to download it - I believe this is to protect copyright, so people can’t sell the downloaded image as their own. Yea it always takes some time to get familiar with the new update of a program. There was a few times this past week where I was like “now where did that button go”. I hope you enjoy the other videos.

Im planning of getting the Cricut Maker 3,
Been doing POD for a while now
and thought this was a good idea to expand,
    although i probably would need
    my own website for that...
Came across your channel the other day,
    And basically downloaded
a few of your tutorials i was interested in
So when i end up buying the machine
I'll know my way around most of it
and want to see what the process is,
And what kind of results it produces
    What's good to sell....
Got alot of hours of info to get through
    which equals to Choice Overload
    And probanly Paralysis by Analysis..lol
    I'll see what happens...
    Great work btw👍👍

That is super cool. Thank you. How would you get it on a mug with Cricut from there.

I’m glad you enjoyed it. It would depend on what you wanted to do. If vinyl - you could upload it into design space and make it multi layers. If sublimation you would have to print from a sublimation printer and then use a mug press. I’m hoping to do a similar tutorial but in Design Space - so stay tuned for that!

Thank you for this tutorial! Why do you need to have a space between the two images?

    • @littlecraftnest
      @littlecraftnest  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

It’s a preference but totally up to you. I find it just gives that split image look.

I didn’t know you could change the canvas color. When does the color wheel come up? When I chose the paper size?

When you click on your canvas you’ll see the color wheel above it.
