It looks like they really listened to the feedback when we said we didn't want repeats from other years, hopefully the next step will be all different characters! I really love this one, not sure I'll be able to afford it but I think it's the best Harry Potter calendar I've seen so far 😊
The dragon was definitely my favorite! I wish there were more animals in this calendar maybe they could have replaced some of the duplicate characters with those. Also Cherry where did you get your Weasley twins sweater?
The theme of this advent calendar all revolves around Diagonal Alley. I think that is why there are so many duplicates. It's from scenes throughout all the books. I do agree with you regarding the duplicates. There are other characters that could have been included.
Listen, the Rita one was arguably the best! Her little glasses and outfit are so darling, iconic, and recognizable! I have to say I loved the owl and Draco in his quidditch uniform too.
Yeah I so agree with you in regards to the duplicates of the golden trio. As if you get the calendar every year you’re over run with Harry’s - I could recreate the 7 Harry’s scene!! Was really missing Luna and Neville. We defo need more secondary characters - the Yule ball one from a few years ago was good for that. I’m holding out for a Seamus with his cauldron exploding in his face 😂 we need more ones like that!
If the calandar was a themed one, Weasleys or Gringotts or Golden Trio, I wouldn't mind duplecate characters in different outfits, but for a generic Harry Potter one, they could mix it up a bit more. Even a Quidditch themed one could have 24/25 different characters/pieces.
Love the funko but i would love them to be able to stand by themselves without falling all the time ! Already have one funko calendar and would love more different characters rather than duplicates. Some of them are cool like Bellatrix, the dragon, Quirrel, Rita Skeeter and Lucius. But you always need an Hagrid ;)

This is a great advent calendar. Its cool to see some new Pops ive never seen. i dont care dor the duplicates just in different clothes but i mean i guess its still worth the money because its fun unboxing these.

I do agree that there could have been a few less duplicates; two Harry's would have been enough, and one Lockhart, and even one Hermione. That could have meant four other characters. Given a lot were book 2, I would've loved to see the Basilisk, Lupin, McGonagall, Arthur Weasley, Sirius, Snape, Hedwig, Dobby, or many of the other characters from all movies. They could have added more characters. . I have the Funko Marvel Christmas advent calendar this year, and this has made me more amped to start opening it December first. Love these video's.
I would’ve liked Luna or dobby or Remus or Sirius black instead of four harry potters. Maybe even Dudley or uncle Voldemort or warm tail. There’s so many things they could have done.
Just ordered this for my daughter for the first time so she'll be happy with every character, although I had to warn her there was no snape so she wasn't disappointed.

If they want more than one Harry each year then maybe just make him the standard first and last pop, but make them special.
As usual, I'm a bit on the fence with this Advent Calendar. On one hand, I thought they did better than the previous years because there was no repeats from previous calendars, but on the other hand, I agree that 24 different characters would have been way better! That being said, it's still a great calendar, especially for people who do not collect regular sized Funko Pops (because as someone who does, most of these Pocket Pops are simply smaller versions of the normal ones and I don't really see the point in having both 😅). And the best one definitely was the little dragon for me!
This one is great and kind of worth the price tag. A few doubles is fine but not when they are the same mold (Lockhart)! Would not appreciate 4 Harry's either.

I would rather see 24 different characters. There are so many to choose from. I'm always wishing for Sirius and Lupin. I loved them all, just wish there weren't duplicates. Very happy to see Bellatrix and the dragon. A bit heartbroken to not see Luna. I agree that there really isn’t a good reason to have duplicates in different outfits when there are so many characters and creatures to choose from. Despite the duplicates, I was happy to pick this up at half price for Cyber Monday. 🪄✨
I've had to get my daughter the harry potter bracelet advent calendar she really got into it this year and I'm loving it 😊 loads of Harry potter stuff on her list

The ordering of the Weasley twins was absolutely brilliant for me. The numbers 7 and 14 and very important to me and I am a twin, and those were the two doors that contained Gred and Forge.

I agree. I hate dups. There are characters that have not been made that we are waiting for, but Funko gives us one new character and dups of Harry and the others they have done per nauseam. Do the rest of the teachers, Harry's aunt, uncle and cousin, Harry's parents, the other ghosts, Barty Crouch Jr., Arthur Weasley and so on.

Cherry I’ve been opening my calendar since day 1. I’ll open it and go back to this video to see your reaction, or if I missed a character, then I’ll stop it and continue it the next day. This is such a fun advent calendar, I’m thinking of doing the Disney one next year.
I agree that they shouldn't have so many of the same characters repeated in the same box. They are different but it's still the same person. There are so many of them that there isn't a need to do that. Seeing some that have never been done before would be great. Having a pixie to go with Gilderoy would have been good. Mrs. Norris, a screeching mandrake, Moaning Myrtle, etc.
